| Bro they didnt need to flex this hard! This episode was unreal! That crazy ass fight! The way Shadow just toyed with both of them, the way he fcking disrespected Iris both physically and mentally! Really knocked her down a peg! The way he responded to Iris’ threat was hype af! Bro was like, girl who tf do u think you’re talking to? And how he had the whole city in atomic range just showcased how he was just fcking with them and could have ended them anytime he so pleased. Now, gimme my season 2!!! 9/10!!! One of the most entertaining isekai OP MC I’ve watched in a long time! Never a dull moment when bro goes Shadow mode! |

| Of course they have an entire secret base with a huge statue of him. I wonder how long Rose will not know that Cid is Shadow. Kinda sad that Beatrix didn't meet Alpha. I bet his image will only be shattered in the last fight when he has to accept the fact that it was all a lie and that he was in fact the protagonist with a huge female secret organisation. It's going to be amazing. 9/10 Anime |

| I think that was a pretty decent ending with the fight lasting half the episode and was sure solid and well animated then Rose joining Shadow Garden under the name of 666 is a nice teasing for what could happen if S2 will be announced, I'm anime only but I feel like the story got better by each episode since it started as kinda questionable for me at first but in the end I just especially how they portrayed Cid as almost a parody character and the actual plot mixed with humour/parody works nicely, I would say it's a 7.5/10 kind of show for me so far that can easily be higher if S2 happens |

Except Cid, the rest of the shadow garden do find their match at times. i understand now lol |

| The fights were epic. I'm surprised they managed to not kill civillians during the fights (or at least it seems like it). Nice way to end the series for now. Is that Zeta on the boat where Cid's friend is fishing? |

| 8.7 I admit defeat, it is hard to watch this show and not enjoy it, faults aside, HYPE OST and execution at key scenes, gets you PUMPED, it is also very funny & boasting a wide range of colourful characters~~ Watching these last 3 episodes together (ep18-20) gave me an EPIC final conclusion, I was not expecting the anime to conclude this well, was already preparing my argument to give it a 8, and blaming some of Cid's quirks, his OP skills taking some impact out of the story, lack of development for Shadow Garden and tons of fights that lacked better animation (too many static scenes used)... yet I admit defeat, this climax alone was pretty HYPE. This show does suffer from limited resources for animation, but the amazing soundtrack and clever usage of effects really helped a lot, with more animators it would be even better, but what we already got is a cut above the norm. I still find that Shadow Garden is kinda wasted, no real development or background for most in a meaningful way (Kagejitsu! will help I hope), and Cid itself while rather refreshin, does kill the more serious vibe the story could have, this is on purpose I know but like, he is soo OP so you already know what the ending will be, there is almost no challenge, the purpose is to see Cid amusing himself while shooting for being the Eminescence in the Shadow (mostly suceeding). Despite all that, there is a rather high number of characters outside those mentioanted above that also keep you engaged and interested, to name a few, Beatrix, Alecia and Aurora, but I could also go on and even mention the girl the stalking Shadow, believing he is to blame for her adoptive "father" death, there is just tons of potential from the side characters, and the show keeps it engaging (also the design managed to hold uo to lastest episode, beautifully done). . Rose was one I also enjoyable a lot and seeing her journey was sad and moving, so I m definitly surprised by the side characters (Aurora is still my favorite). Everything culminates in something that I just couldnt not like, the ultimate factor to me is something beeing fun and getting your attention wholeheartedly, this did. 8.7/10 = 9 I heard this last fight was greatly expanded in the anime vs LN and manga, so really, despite limited, the resources the studios had to deal with where rather well used. Give me a S2 and I will definitly go read both the LN and the mangta. |
