| I still think this show was kind of mid overall, but this final episode was pretty fire. What a great, explosive episode to end the season, and at the very end we have moonlight sonata once again being played by Cid, being himself. Yes, next time, do it like that. We'll all be there to watch it. Anyway, Eminence in Shadow certainly had its moments throughout, and I appreciate the satire and comedy we get through Shadow/Cid himself. Still simply an OK 5/10 anime for me though. But will still definitely watch a season 2 should there ever be one. |

I like how this fight is more serious in the anime than in the manga and we can see the princess is trying her hardest at beating shadow than in the manga (the manga princess was probably trying her hardest to but WE CAN SEE it in the anime more). The part that made me like the princess more in anime than in the manga was that part where she breaks down in frustration as she saw just how much more powerful shadow was than her. We can actually see her emotions better in the anime than in the manga which is a huge point for me. Anyways I think this finale was as good ending to the anime and I hope that the season 2 will come soon |

| Oh crap the return of the tonfas. The fight was pretty good imo, Cid really almost had us with a final "I am Atamik" lol. And damn, this is already the last episode? For some reason I didn't expect it but it was a real journey. I really liked the anime, a 9/10 for me lol, I hope we get to see more in the future. |

| Despite the confusion its nice to see Iris and Alexia's dad keep things together. The three way fight between shadow and Beatrix and Iris though was pretty good. Arrogant as he is even Shadow won't murder millions just to prove his strength. Looks like Sherry has become anotehr enemy of shadow as well. Trust shaadow to have a giant statue of himself at his base of operations. Though i wager it was actually put up by the members of garden. Though its sad to lose her memories of Cid i feel that Rose would stand to learn a lot by joining the garden. Overall a pretty action packed finale that managed to end things on a high note while also wrapping up this particular story arc. From the ending looks like there's going to be a sequel. Im curious to see how much they diverged from the source material though but at the least the sereis did get better in the second half. |

Did you watch One Punch man with the expectation that Saitama would be threatened by something when the concept itself clearly shows that it is very unlikely to happen unless the series breaks its own initial concept and moves a genre? I think you would've enjoyed the series far more if you would've treated it as a comedy that tries to disguise itself as various different genres, instead of actually looking for something the series itself isn't. Eminence shouldn't even be labeled as a "safe isekai", because there is no actual threat to begin with. Would you treat Konosubas as a "safe isekai" because everytime Kazuma dies he is returned back to life later on? The conflict with the cult is clearly not the main focus of the series itself even if it claims it to be. I however agree the series is bloated with an insane amount of female characters, that for the most part, do little to nothing with the exception of a select few, but I believe the concept could work even if Cid's harem wouldn't have existed to begin with, as Cid is the main reason why this series works to begin with. Regardless, its basically up to personal preferences obviously. If you came with the wrong expectations, I doubt anyone could convince you to see things differently. i've been explaining how i came into this show with the "oh god, another one" mentality... hence why watching the lore videos helped ease my mind i didnt' see this show through the "parody" lense.. like i did with OPM which is alot more "obvious"... especially with the fact that there aren't a bunch of "Saitama clones" like their are with Kirito so yea i get it, this show is kinda making fun of the trend, which is fine but yea, i don't like that the girls kinda "don't matter" overall... as i prefer "harems" to focus more on how hot they are than whatever the guy is doing, but many of these new isekai harems focus more on how broken the guy is making this show not even really a harem so ok, I see now why this show stands out so much lol... |

He just defended himself Haha. But what a marvelous ending on an already amazing series. Hope for a second season sooner than later. But I think her obsession over Shadow clouded her own mind, she's so obsessed to fulfill people's expectations of her that she projected the anger of her own "Failure" to Shadow. And when she was crying or mad, it's not really for the safety of the city, but more for her own "Failure" to do her job. As for Beatrix, I think she doesn't really care, she just enjoy the battle. |

As different as these two series are, they both have the same major aspect of everyone seeing the MC as a genius with intricate plans for everything while the MC for the most part has no idea what's even going on. :D |

| A very awesome and epic last three episodes, and a great way to end the season. Kind of like the feeling of sadness and epicness of this anime especially when it comes to the characters and how insignificant the side characters are when it comes to Cid, totally reminds me of Ainz in Overlord. I really enjoyed this last episode, would like to see more. |
| Here marks the end of this first season. I enjoyed the heck out of it and can't wait for the next season tbh. Shadow is too OP and it was fun seeing him beat everyone out. A new member has joined the Shadow Garden. Nice. It was a cool show overall. |

That had to be one of the best 3 way fights I’ve ever seen Beatrix Iris and Shadow was a matchup I was not expecting to happen in this anime but here we are witnessing PEAK😫🔥 and I’m glad I was apart of this ride The Eminence in Shadow had to have been one of if not the best Isekai’s to come out in 2022 (Ik it’s 2023 but this aired in 2022) anyway I can’t wait to see more of Shadow Garden and hope there’s a season 2!!🥳🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 (I’ll miss seeing Delta’s fine ass tho☹️) |

Also as a boomer you should also notice ihat this show basically Sialor Moon but with funny Tuxedo Mask as the mc about shadow garden girls focus, we will get it next season when Cid basically become their enemy It's kinda hard not to see him as Kirito clone when he's a short black haired unbeatable male isekai lead like most of them and the show came out during the peak of these kinda shows lol Well shit, if that's really the case, I'm far more hyped, as like I've stated, I'd be far more interested in the show from the female perspective as I always am Anyway, I hope no one is getting the impression that I think the show is bad, as I never said that I guess I just can't get that hype over overpowered isekai anime where the girls are more rizz points for the dude than the focus of the show, so if anything I'm just ranting about that |
