| What a let down! Boring episode! Character's backstory but we don't care about the characters! 6 episodes in I couldn't care less if any of them died! Terrible pacing! You can already tell that due to the hype and popularity, the studio is going to milk this manga adaptation till the last drop for at least 6 more seasons. If I wanted to watch a slow paced & chill anime, I'd watch Aria the animation and know what to expect. This is not an appropriate pace for an action shounen! (The "how to find the gun-devil" explanation in previous episode was silly and nebulous! ) Embarassing show for the true anime fans! Average at best! 3/10 |
| Still languid but I found very funny how silly the characters look when they talk to each other or they are walking. Power laughing at the scared girl was the only entertaining thing of this episode that felt way too long just to come with the conclusion of bring the chainsawman!. |

| Do we need to remove the action tag? We've had like 30 seconds tops in the last 2 episodes! Just so much superfluous, boring stuff between characters with no charisma. They seem to be doing a 1:1 adaptation forgetting anime is a different medium, for example why show 5 minutes of Aki's tropey back story, dead parents, that's never been done before!, only to repeat it when he's talking to Himeno in this episode. Cut those 5 minutes for the one line we had in this episode, because that's all we need to understand his motivation. |

| That ending animation was amazing, but it left us with a cliffhanger:(. Seeing the backstory of Aki and Himmeno was interesting as well, bc I think that these two would be a great match for each other. |

| Gotta love how the animators picked the name "Wild Raven" for Himeno's brand of choice, complete with a dark cyan packaging matching the dreamy hue of last episode's cemetery flashback. It's actually a bit surprising how much this adaptation is ripe with interesting fan additions such as this, even though they're not even that many so far. Another aspect where you can see plenty of that is how they animate the minute details and body language of iconic scenes from the manga that focus primarily on the characters' facial expressions. Now that Kobeni is up we'll be seeing a lot of that, which is super fun to look at in my opinion. Speaking of which, major spoilers for people who haven't read the manga until the end, but Don't go looking for it if you haven't read the whole thing (if you did you probably noticed it as well) |
| This was one of the better episodes of Chainsaw Man, and I personally liked it a lot. I guess what stood out for me is the special partnership/relationship that's between Aki and Himeno. Although it seems like she's the one who's leading this division, she depends/relies on him the most, and when he's hurt or injured, she kind of loses control. It's as though Aki is her last leg. If he falls, she falls too. (Perhaps, I'm romanticizing their relationship a bit too much?) I hope we can get to know those two a bit better. For once, both Denji and Power felt very human. And although Power's behavior as a character gets on my nerves, her commentary is very funny and fits perfectly with her character. Overall, it appears that some of these characters have a lot of potential, but it's going to take some time to reveal that to the viewers. I envy those who are going to binge-watch CSM... They won't suffer from the wait, nor will they get a taste of the cliffhangers that we get every week. |

| Interesting to say the least! This show has some layers and throwing me for a loop every time I think I have it pegged. That being said, little girl is annoying af. Pretty sure I saw others on MAL all excited about her character, but if so, I hope there's more to her than this. I like her for the current story, but in the long haul? Is that a thing? Dunno. Overall, the last 5 or so mins were by far the best, no surprise there. Makes me so ready for the next ep! PS... I love when Power does the whole resting her chin on Denji's shoulder thing. It's the second time she's done it, and I love the personal sentiment of friendship that it carries, despite her professing, for example, to be down with killing Denji for the sake of a Nobel Prize or whatever her motivations are in the moment. |
| This arc has rlly taking a dark turn, a psychosocial horror and SCP turn. Literally got to see almost the entire team lose their sanity one by one, scary how well it was portrayed as well. Each person snapped for different reasons at different points and coped differently. First impressions of Arai and Kobeni aren't to good rn won't say, i understand their reasons if i was in their shoes, but from a viewers perspective it was rough to watch. Himeno i guess got hit with that emotional damage from Aki, and rlly fast as well. You can tell she holds him rlly closely with how he treats him and the backstory that was shown rlly sums up their relationship. Besides from Denji, Power and Aki not losing their sanity, what a chad Aki was this ep. Kicked the knife out of Kobeni's hands, refused to kill denji and didn't call him a devil, took the blow for Denji while spitting facts. My liking for him has definitely skyrocketed for me. I feel bad for Denji, any situation were u gotta start pulling straws is a shitty one for one person. But undoubtedly man has some balls of fucking steel, dude rlly said "fuck it, rip and tear till it's done" and free dived into a demon. |

| pretty boring episode! and even Himeno lost her cool/composure there and cried! damn! at least the two rookies Denji and Power acted like usual and Aki being a martyr? hmmmm...why not? 2/5. |

| The business suits turned out to be as incompetent as Denji, the rookie when facing a scary demon. Kobeni was not mentally made for this mission or any mission that involves fighting and the risk of death. The first idea they get is sacrificing Denji, what amateurs do that to their colleagues on the first big mission. Aki Hayakawa turns out to be a decent man, protecting the rookie even though he doesn't like him. The side story of Himeno and the other dud, whose name I don't remember was very nice. |

| Kobeni reminds me a bit of Zenitsu haha. Good episode, pretty intriguing, and interesting to see how each character react differently to the situation. Can't wait for the next episode. |
