| Fan service in this show would ruin it for me and I’m someone who normally doesn’t mind it unless it’s completely pointless. I will say though, that censorship effects more than ecchi, violence can easily be censored as well. If anyone here thinks CSM threads are out of control now, just wait how they’ll get if some scenes in that get censored. Anyway, I’m loving this show and I had a good feeling about it before the season started so I’m happy it’s delivering what I expected. |

| This shit is so classic CGDCT, I love it! I think its been a year or so since I last enjoyed or watched a CGDCT anime. The comedic timing and directing of this show is amazing! Along with the character interactions and the creative yet unique background implication of Bocchi’s inner thoughts are second to none! I cannot wait for her to keep developing as a character. One of the main appeals of this show for me is her hilarious facial expressions and her amazing voice actress! Despite not having that many major roles she is really nailing all the ups and downs of Bocchi. The transition of scenes in the ending was great! The way blonde girl said “all we need now is a vocalist!” And the scene changing to the karaoke part with red head saying “Thats me! Thats me!” Was smooth!! This series turned out to be one of the surprises for me this season, I didnt come expecting to get entertained by this much tbh. 5/5!!! Gimme more!!! |

| I'm glad Bocchi has a goal to work towards, it really is relatable lol. Feeling like you've taken a big leap one day and finding out you're back where you started from the next has happened all too much for me. Hopefully she grew a little from her near-death experiences at work. I strongly prefer no fanservice for this one. I feel like adding fanservice would take away the relatability of Bocchi, which has become the #1 selling point of the show in my eyes. I like how the cast bounces off each other so well, it's already starting to feel pretty natural. I also like some of the creative decisions the staff chose, such as the ice bath flash-forward and the other band introducing themselves in the background while the main cast were talking. And Bocchi's antics are as fun to watch as always. That being said, I'm really don't want the show to milk the whole "loneliness" thing to death, as this show seems to love pulling that joke all the time. It hasn't got old yet, but hopefully they freshen it up/add other jokes. I also have some thoughts about whoever made the OST for this episode, none of them good. I'm really looking forward to where this series goes, as it's one of my two potential "dark horses" I guessed before the season. (The other one, Raven of the Inner Palace, seems to not be doing so well. Maybe my taste is garbage, but I still really like that show.) |

| What a great show! This is almost an original anime, meaning it is so much better than the manga that it seems like there is little connection between the two. The folks at CloverWorks have taken an average manga and made something really special. |

| I had a fun time being amused with the amount of goofy expressions that Bocchi made in this episode as she had many internal battles with herself in her attempt to conquer her social anxiety. She already has the backing of her bandmates, Nijika and Ryou, as well as Nijika's older sister, who is the manager. Although her attempts to get a cold from having a long ice bath and standing in front of a fan while wearing a swimsuit were funny, she was easily well enough to take on her part-time job at the livehouse. Her growth here was already clear to see, as she went from serving customers their drinks while hiding underneath the bar, to actually seeing them eye-to-eye from their order to giving them their drinks. Her smile looked hilarious, but I'm also happy to see her making progress. =) I guess going by some user's reactions here, I assume that the original source had more fanservice than what was shown here. While I like my fanservice as much as the next user, I really don't mind the lack of it in the anime version. No need to make a big overreaction about it, to be honest. Anyway, this was another satisfying episode to watch. We got a glimpse of the red-haired girl at the end, so I hope we'll get to see her join the band very soon. =D |

| still feels like overacting. it was funny seeing bocchi trying to catch cold, she was too determined lmao, preparing ice bath and stuff. good progress for her overall though. that was not just any step, that was a big step. can't wait to see the looks on those girls when they find out who bocchi really is. they gonna be flabbergasted lmao. and seems like new character in next episode. |
