bro, the manga is not praised cuz it's life changing. it's praised cuz it's unique and different any any shounens that came out in recent few years. it's not your typical, generic hero-villain, goody two shoes mc, plot armor, power ups, power of family and friends, save the world, and shit. csm's design is very different than most avg mangas that came after 2015 and that's what makes it good. i do agree that it's not something completely out of thee water or life changing and also that it is slightly overhyped but it's honestly one of the best mangas that came out in the last decade. aot doesn't count cuz of it's trash ending.

I think CSM is great but man, this fandom has shot and continues to shoot their own favorite series in both feet before it's even begun airing. With the insane levels of hyping it up, that's only going to attract more haters who will already be committed to hating on it and calling it overhyped/rated before seeing even one episode. The forum mods are gonna be working DOUBLE OVERTIME with the brain dead cancerous bait threads that are gonna pop up this week 💀💀💀

People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Poor freelance animators of MAPPA overworked on Chainsaw Man and they might not been paid plentiful of salary. I agree since I have yet read the manga and would give it a read once I finished watching the anime.

the plot and charecters of CSM are slightly better than demon slayer but I don't think the animation even comes close to demon slayer's animation. I saw the trailer and 1st episode's preview. it wasn't as good as demon slayer's animation
