Happy Family planning is honestly a 9 or 10 on its own, the rest of the show, not so much. The beginning is solid and intriguing, and you can really feel each of the characters breaking down, but the second half of the show doesn't really match the first. The changes to the detectives feel random and out of place, the gossip episode feels like filler. I'm still interested in seeing what the show is like on a rewatch, it certainly has some of the FLCL feel of "there's more to the show, your just have to figure it out", but I'm not particularly eager to actually give it a try. |

I felt like there was a a bit of influence from Gosenzo-sama Banbanzai! both in the art style and some story telling elements though of course it wasn't anywhere as near as avant-garde. I think the only thing that brought it down was it's length, it really could have benefited from being longer, and that's what's keeping it from being a 10 |
