It was my favorite part from the Light Novel, I just wish there was more scene dedicated to the episode.

Glad this arc is over, it was decent but not amazing, I understand why they had to use so much CGI in this episode with so many creatures.
Perhaps the last half of this season will be a little more laid back now well as much as Overlord can be.

I think it was alright, I feel like there wasn't much going on during that episode, but something that must happen for story to progress

First subpar ep, horribly rushed which made it feel like a powerpoint presentation.
The dragon part was butchered but the shalltear part was ok though there was not supposed to be any blood since her lance was sucking up all the blood.

Didn't this episode look way worse? It reminded me of how Nanatsu no Taizai was after it went to Deen.
Ainz enslaving what's left of the Quagoa race after what was essentially a genocide felt like the most evil thing he did so far.

My man Ainz is the personification of everyone just aggressively, obsessively assuming the best of a person.

Is it just me that thinks that the anime ha become repetitive at this point? Like, it is always the usual misunderstanding and power flex thing.

A lot needed to be cut out in order to fit the episode length.
Alto the CG, its really grating to see the style change so drastically between scenes,

The fight (especially the Frost dragons) was underwhelming, I wish it would be more entertaining. If anything, I actually enjoyed the dialogues between Ainz and his men (Shalltear, Aura, and Demiurge).

If it is, it’s taking it’s damn time. The jokes are making it seem like the author has no intention of going that route and would prefer a steady plot about Ainz and Nazarick extending it’s influence throughout the world and overcoming everything in it’s path.

That's because I assume you are seeing this through the lens of an anime-only viewer. Not only has the show just adapted short chunks of the whole light novel so far, but it could also take some years between seasons to get produced. This means some jokes and developments seem slow from an anime-only perspective since we are seeing it unfold at a slower pace than an LN reader would.

But don’t the jokes just build up the idea that the NPC’s are incapable of finding fault with Ainz? Especially with how convoluted they’re willing to be in justifying his actions. I just always come out of this show feeling that they could never actually betray him purposefully or become disillusioned. The jokes present that idea as an actuality that we can laugh about. If the narrative flips the scrip, which I hope it does, it risks fucking over it’s own continuity because of these jokes.

I won’t be accepting some sudden change out of nowhere now. And given how infatuated they are, something extraordinary has to blow up that perspective over a preferably long period of time, and even then I’m not sure that will be enough to make up for the four seasons of playing around … pretending that this isn’t actually a serious plot point to be explored.

If only the Mines of Moria had Ainz+friends. Fun episode just, a little underwhelming. Expected the Frost Dragons to put up more of a fight but.. grasp heart.. dead lol. At least give them a chance to try something and tank it Ainz.. I just wanted some eyecandy like a frost breath or something. Shalltear going ham on those wretches is probably the highlight for me.

Still enjoying the series, but I'd like to see someone/thing gives Ains a little bit more of a challenge. I'm sure its coming up, but it's a little less exciting when he just instantly kills the dragon by crushing their hearts instead of fighting them.

No surprise that we got the usual procedure where Ainz made all the frost dragon submit to him. Still, I'm always fascinated the way he does it.

Close call for Hejinmal. If he didn't have such a good instinct, he would have been dead for sure. Obviously the leader of the dragons wouldn't submit, but at least now Ainz has material for weapons or maybe armor?

The Quagoa definitely underestimated Shalltear and Aura which ended up in a crazy massacre. In the end they suffered the same fate as every other race before.

Overlords humor never disappoints. The constant overestimation of Ainz in no matter what concerns, is just too funny and never gets old. Also Demiurges face when he thought Ainz had a 10000 year foresight was absolutely priceless :D

It was a kinda fade ep and i was pretty let down by the dragons performance. The fighting scenes were mediocre animated, story and plot is pretty plain and obvious.
