A promising first episode where we are introduced to the two MCs. Opposite attract in the widest sense with both being leader of opposing forces in good vs evil.

For me I dropped it episode one cause I had my issues with it.

- Why is the main girls outfit so skimpy? if it's a common thing in sentai then I wouldn't be opposed it's just weird that "THAT" is the villain's outfit in a kids show. Also all the villain mob designs are kinda crappy too cutesy while contrasting the skimpy outfit she's wearing which is not fun to look at or think about.

- Why is the dynamic so vanilla for such a cool concept? For a story with villain girl x hero boy I expected her to be edgier and cooler than just "normal pure shy kawai girl" because it's just normal shy romance I expected it to be more of a "what if?" Show where "what if in a sentai series the villain lady ended up with the red hero?" Instead of "romance where cute girl (villain) dated hot guy (hero)" because the romance isn't specific enough to the story because the girl doesn't really have an "evil" personality she's not arrogant and boastful like a princess fashionista villain, she's not chipper and "psychotic"/"sadistic" like the crazy overpowered character that's either pulling the strings behind the scenes or just a crazy for crazy's sake character, she's not bratty and childish like an immature villain that screams "I'll get you next time meanies" or "That's not fair you can't just get more powers", she's just "cute average shy pure girl who happens to work with "bad guys". Also the stakes in the show weren't high enough for me to be invested about whether or not their relationship to be revealed because they don't establish why it has to be a secret and if it was this easy to find her secret identity then wtf why hasn't anyone else identified the villains.

I fail to understand Fudou's immediate crush. Desumi is masked when they first meet and they barely interact besides trading one or two quips with each other, and then he's head over heels? Besides that, why would Fudou and Desumi getting together be a problem for the press? Gekko don't come across as anything more than roleplayers performing as villain caricatures from a kid's action show, and there doesn't seem to be any tangible stakes to the conflict between Gelato and Gekko, so what's the issue? If anything, you'd think the press would hope that a relationship between representatives of the two factions would bridge the gap between them and "reform" Desumi, right?

Character interactions and dialogue are also quite somewhat simplistic at the moment, and don't establish any worldbuilding or characterisation beyond their surface archetypes. Not to say that you would expect a light-hearted romcom anime with a parodic theme to be profound or anything, but the pace is too quick to establish even the relationship between the Gelato members. The main couple are dating in the very first episode, but we know next to nothing about them, the world, or any of the other characters. Fudou and Desumi's relationship should've been approached more gradually, with this episode instead taking the time to explain the setting with consideration. Melting the icy heart of the alleged villain shouldn't be as effortless as a few motivational lines and an admission that you keep up with their social media accounts.
