Dub is cool for some of the characters, but mostly for shippuden, the original anime didn't have as many great dub va's. For example Madara, Pain, Naruto etc, all have incredible english voice actors. However the sub is still superior in a lot of ways. Unlike the dub, the subbed version nailed every character imo, that was one of the aspects of naruto that kept me coming back and watching it, even tho I never really enjoyed the series that much as a whole.

It is best if you do not watch Naruto series. I struggled to finish it, putting it on hold multiple times, and it took me eight months to complete both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. All of this, despite the fact that I skipped the trash filler arcs. And, if you manage to finish Naruto, don't even bother watching Boruto. It's terrible.

I've watched both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden in sub; although I've seen some episodes on tv or so in dubs, but not sure how good or decent they are.

I agree with everyone who is suggesting not to watch Naruto. But, if u still insist on watching, then Watch Original Naruto in Sub and Shippuden in dub.

Watching Naruto as a kid on Cartoon Network has made me dislike the English dub. plus you don't hear "Dattebayo" in the dub

I'm watching it in sub and I've watched some clips in dub. I think both are equally good so it's up to you to watch it in dub or sub.

I have watched the whole of naruto with subs and the whole of naruto in dub(shippuden included, also all the fillers)

Both are good but I like the sub version a little more

Sub probably because the dub is not bad, but I have always found the sub to be better in my opinion.
