Unlike other anime I've watched, I think the sub is just boring and emotionless. The dub has much more life to it and is funnier as well.

Typically I like sub over dub. I have a few exceptions. This is one. Not because I think one is superior, but because I started watching it as a kid when it originally aired. It's the DBZ effect. Growing up with voices ingrained with the character make them nostalgic later. If I grew up with the anime from ages 7 to 14 then dub, always dub. If I watched it after getting back in anime in my mid 20's then it's always sub.

I watched all of Naruto and Shippuden and the movies in DUB, no real reason behind this, ist just happened to be available in my language and I watched it 👍

I think that for many main stream anime’s, it’s better to watch them in dub, not only because you’re watching them for a long amount of time, but because the big names allow them to hire proper voice actors and the acting sounds real and emotional

Watched in regional dub until 112 of Shippuden and I loved it. Watched it subbed from then on and still loved it.

Both of them are amazing. The first time I watched Naruto, it was in dub, then re-watched it in sub. Although, I'd say I prefer sub more.

In most anime I much prefer sub, but for naruto, everything about dub makes it better I feel that dub has a lot of emotion and power out into the screams, voicelines, and the large speeches, such as itachi’s. I found dub to be amazing for this series

Dub or sub, who cares I just care about how good is the story and how good are the animations. Obviously if a scary villain got a kiddish voice who can't even do the evil laugh then I will complain but none anime that I have watched have these probs so yeah...

Let me tell u one reason for watching it subbed...u will get to hear 'Dattebayo!' instead of that 'believe it'...
Also, the names of the techniques/jutsu sounds better in Japanese...

I watched 5 seasons dubbed and I can say they were really nice but I like it when Naruto says Dattebayo lol, so I don't have a preference

Sub first because I didn't have a choice (the dub ones were coming out way after the fan sub), but then I associated the Japanese style of voice acting to anime and I now prefer it.

If you ever feel dumb, just imagine the people who keep doing argue about the sub and dub issue....

Grow up folks! Dubs are for those who can't understand Japanese and don't want to keep their eyes only on dialogues rather than action scenes and beautiful animations, both are good in their own ways and it's personal choice.....

For example, in my case I feel more comfortable in dub, and if someone likes sub then also we should respect his/her choice

I prefer subbed, watching it dubbed is kinda boring imo.

It all matters about your preference though, since a lot of the voices are pretty good in both sub and dub.

Well luckily thanks to the power of streaming you can change from sub to dub and vice versa on a whim, so after taking a listen to some bits of dialogue in both English and Japanese, I will say this: although I find the dub is overall a little more energetic and enjoyable, you do lose a bit of the cultural elements that you get with the sub. What I found is that the characters in the traditional Japanese always sound more formal, reserved and much more meek (more ninja-like, if you will) whereas the English version is more loud & proud, and accentuates the youthful ambitious elements of the characters and that’s not necessarily a bad thing (it is a Shonen after all). So overall it’s just a personal preference. Though I’ll agree oftentimes many dub don’t sound faithful to the original work, there’s nothing wrong with watching in a dub if a perfectly good one exists, especially if it’s a series with hundreds of episodes that you don’t want to have to read subtitles all the way through.

Dub... But only issue I've is It's just that "believe it" phrase from Naruto was used too much at the start. I know it was something of a parallel to dattebayo in sub. That's pretty much it.

I thought Naruto was trash in the dub, so that made it a pretty automatic decision.

You shouldn't watch Naruto, but if you're willing to throw away 30 days of your life, then watch it with subtitles, as it must be watched.
If you're a fanboy, please don't waste my time.

Watch more movies, please.

The dub has Megan Hollingshead in it (The greatest female va in all of anime, and pretty darn good looking too), therefore it's automatically good. Watch the dub.

I actually watch Naruto in dub and naruto shippudden in sub. I wanna say its up to u wht u gonna prefer watch 1st episode in sub and dub than decide. I personally didnt hate the dub it was ok although I will tell u to watch shippuden in sub as sub is better. In original naruto their isnt much difference.
