Its probably the fact that you already know the secret of the world and knowing that Knowing the whole story behind " The secret of the world " would probably ruin the story for you slightly since you already experienced it before... Remember the first episode with the flash backs? First thing you probably said was ohh shit rin 2.. On the other hand imagine a anime only fan who is enjoying it and killing themselves over the secret of the world... I cant wait for rin2 when |

| I think the purpose of Kurugaya's route in the anime and the drama behind it was just toned down overall. It didn't really try to force tears and make everyone cry for an extended amount of time. It gave her a reasonable story and explanation for everything, and it wasn't overly tragic compared to the first routes. I thought that Kurugaya accepting her fate and Riki's helplessness to be able to do anything at the time was sufficient, and the time spent on the bros, the Secret, and the extra hints of Rin and her development will boost the narrative overall and heighten the impact of Refrain. Anyway, I'm here to see how JC Staff handles the VN adaptation. I want to see how they animate my favorite routes, and how others react to them. I'm not coming in expecting them to cater to me, personally, and have every bit of plot development. I want to loosely watch it with my VN nostalgia combined with some anime critique, and say "If I was an anime watcher, would I find this interesting?" And overall, I feel like JC Staff is making this season and the Secret of the World more focused than the VN did. They're definitely handling Rin (and Komari) much better than in the VN, and it's going to work out well come episode 12. The fact that there is enthusiastic interest in the Secret, rather than people just saying "WHAT IS GOING ON?!" in reviews and posts means that JC Staff is obviously doing something right. Seriously, though. Kurugaya's route ending didn't have to make you break down in tears. It can easily be considered as a prologue to Refrain and what's to come, and it's used to aid the upcoming story, bring out Riki and Rin's romantic emotions, have more screentime for the bros, and get people interested in the Secret of the World. If it made you emotional, that's just a bonus, because few people even teared up over the VN route. |

Just look at there new anime Kyoukai No Kanata, its impressive, but its being rushed atm, and some scene's are just to confusing. |
| As someone who already played the VN, I really got emotional in the last part of episode 3...Of course, that's because I already know what is to come...But if I haven't played the VN yet, I'll only get confused and probably I won't even cry in that part...If JC Staff does the BEST part right, I'm hoping that'll be the time when my tears won't stop falling...and I'm so excited for that. :) |
| The ending wasn't entirely clear to me but i guess this arc was better then the entire first season, so far things are looking good. Rin next it seems and i wonder what that will bring, Rin seemed sad last episode so i guess this new arc should be interesting. |

I haven't played the VN but I am what I call, "half spoiled", what I mean is i get the sort of general idea of what happens, but I have no idea what the details are. Here's what I know (nothing much): I hope Refrain will get better than "good", and when I say its good so far, I mean in comparison to all anime. Now if I compare it to Clannad, this is mediocre. I hope for the best. |

Kurugaya's route to which parts of Clannad? Clannad is like 40something episodes with several arcs, and Maeda's beloved After Story segment, and Kurugaya's route is 1 arc of about 3 episodes. I can't tell if you're comparing Kurugaya's arc to the flowerfield scene from Clannad After Story, or something, or if you're comparing it to something like Fuko and Kotomi's routes. Anyway, LB is a climactic story, and the main part hasn't begun. I'm honestly still surprised this anime even has over an 8.0 considering how weak this part of the story is compared to Rin and Refrain. That's an accomplishment in itself right there. If Refrain's buildup and dramatic moments are well executed, people are going to be mindfuckingly blindsided by how great it gets. (In my humble opinion) I guess some people might be saying "When's it supposed to get really good?" since there's only 10 episodes left. But people will soon realize how much has already built up, come Refrain. Anyway, the "half-spoiled" situation you're in will keep you on your feet in the upcoming episodes. I just hope JC Staff has been saving their talent for the next 10 episodes :3 |

| This season is already so much better than the first. I'm actually kind of surprised at how much I enjoyed Kurugaya and her route. I had played through a little bit of the common route long before the anime was even announced and Kurugaya was my next to last favorite girl then. But after watching the first season and her route, she's my 3rd favorite girl. I love her to death! And I liked her route because it hinted the most at the secret of the world. The tears started rolling as soon as Song for Friends began playing. I can never listen to that song and not cry. The last part of the episode was very emotional. Although, I think part of what made it so emotional for me was knowing what is to come. Seeing Kyousuke in the rain was also really nice. Well, I look forward to the next episode! Time to get to see more of my favorite girl~ |

In Clannad, what you see is what you get. Happy (kinda?) Common Route, tear-inducing Afterstory. Watch common route again, and is it still happy? Of course. But Little Busters? Happy Common Route, tear-inducing Refrain. Watch/Read Common Route again, and is it still happy? Nope, not a bit. LB Refrain is much, much more connected to the Common Route than Clannad AS ever was to its School Days. |

Wow, shit just hit the fan, and it is episode 3? They certainly are not waiting around to get things going are they? I don't know where things are going exactly, but I am getting that sinking feeling that I will be QQ much more in the coming weeks. It's not the exact version from the VN. Ah man, going through the Kurugaya episodes, Little Busters felt like a completely different anime at times. Where the hell did the quality go for episode 4? It better be back for Refrain. :3 |

| Ha, taking a look back at this episode now, everything Kurugaya said makes sense, how it's her fault he got stuck in that loop, to waking up from the dream and protecting Rin. Ah, it makes me more sad seeing this episode now that I know the truth about what happened. :( So heartbreaking. She finally got to live the kind of life she wanted to via that dream, experiencing all the emotions she lacked when younger, and also fell in love knowing that she will disappear. |
