The dialogue and comedy bits were mainly misses to me sadly. Kimizuka's monotone style of talking doesn't really fit the straight man role that most comedy bits from others approach but oh well. Yui is alright but this was definitely my least favorite episode so far.

Well then since Nagisa will probably take over Seista's shoes, can we now say that she no longer a support character?

"The part where i said i like you was the joke."
Also
"No. The last part was the real joke"
So?
She even mentioned Kimi as an emotionless robot too?
Wtf, girl? Are you even breaking some wall too there?

I mean, ofc that idol girl had something wrong behind all of those situations, under her smile. The next episode title even suggest its her eyes that wrong? Maybe its related to her parents information too. Well, idk. If yes than it must be pretty underwhelming in the end. But, at least they do this part a little justice by splitting it out for two episodes, long enough to care about the details, and such. Even though, i can't help but still worries. All of those jokes felt nothing, weak, and cringey to the point that its give no impact at all for the overarching story. So, for goodness sake, back to the case already, shall you?

No this show is utter rubbish, had red flags from episode 1, this episode just confirms it, i'm not even going to put an effort to criticize.[/quote]

Personally, I thought the first episode was good. It all went downhill once they killed Siesta off.

I have no idea how this forum thing works -_-

1st half was like a "plot/writing for the MC" stuff, also bad jks. Only good stuff was Hololive! Damn, Friend and Matsuri looked great!

2nd half was better, diving into the story and the lie.

Good episode, Kimi falling down the idol rabbit hole was hilarious lmao. Kimi shouting while Yui was singing reminded me of Yakuza's karaoke. The conversations this episode reminded me a little of Monogatari with all the puns and shit, but of course it's nowhere near as good as Monogatari.

Yui is definitely sus, but what's the reason for her to do all this? That is the question. Yui's eye too is a mystery. Looking forward to how this case will play out.

I really don't want to disappoint you... but that's pretty much all the focus of the anime (at least to what they have shown us till now...)
It is pretty much:
- A guy with bad luck, found in another bad luck situation
- The guy found someone that could use his trait and train him to do so
- Story does a flip, the only person that he could relate died and he was back to his old useless self
- A girl (now) with a similar trait and backstory appears to fill that void (to save him from nothingness)
- He became something like the teacher to the girl until she gets the experience enough to be his "teacher" (or at least to his level) (kinda of) "again"

That seems to be pretty much the anime...
Even if not, he is the MC and his trait is precisely to be put in a big awkward situation where he needs to solve or at least help to do it... There is no escape to that "I'm a guy that just happen to be in big movie like scenarios"... This anime (or at least this season) will pretty much focus on him and maybe a little on the others.

PS: I could be wrong here! I didn't see the manga and never will (I don't read mangas). But from the pacing, the cuts, and from what they showed so far...
For the ones that like to bother others (like me) with "you should read the manga/LN", please stop. I don't read mangas, I will NOT read mangas, I will not listen to what manga readers complain in adaptation to the anime counterpart, I only watch anime except in very few and specific situations.

at least you are one of minor people who try to think positive and try to solve the puzzle this ep, I respect that.
Meanwhile the others keep complaining since lost of their waifu and how they mislead by ep 1, but didnt realize this ep was better than last, giving you a true puzzle to solve, giving you Nagisa feeling when she has donor's heart.
They may never think about how yui can be related in this show. why a national idol appears nowhere other than in front of these two (the one who held famous detective heart, the one used to be an assisstant), what yui tried to do after sus appearing like that, the show is about it. However, in reality, some of ppl didnt pay attention to the series at all.

Episode 3 - still dull af so I'm done. This has been a big disappointment for me cause I've been looking forward to it for ages but Tanmoshi is nothing like what I thought it would be.

I find it especially annoying the way there's obviously supposed to be this witty dialogue between the characters (think Oregairu) but it's just not working at all. I'm also finding it hard to watch this because I just don't care about the characters; there's nothing particularly likeable or endearing about any of them so far and it makes it hard to care about where their story is going.

I haven't read the LN's, but I can make a couple guesses. This is pretty much Zetsubou Sensei all over again.

Yui probably can't see with her eyes and she had surgery 1 year ago when a donor was finally found, which is why she has the eyepatch. And it's obvious who is the donor in this case.

Kimi will probably meet many other girls with similar circumstances who received organ donors.

Yeh! Unfortunately, that's what MAL became to be... It's not like it didn't have ppl that complain about the shows or that some of them didn't like at all... But today people only do that!
The amount of misleading comments to show the worst of the anime instead of a whole is overwhelming. Look at the number of bad reviews of shows that just started or even didn't finished! It is as if the new ppl (especially the ones from 2018/19 forwards) are only doing it for sensationalism, to be known fast, and not for the quality!
MAL was a beacon for people that wanted to understand if it was a good show or a bad one, based on experience, in standards/metrics, based on people that enjoyed and on people that didn't enjoy it. Today is just a sh*tshow! Reviews with 2 or 3 eps, and saying pretty much "The show has somethings that could be good, but I didn't like it, so I give it a 1" Give me a show that could be evaluated as (and I quote) "1 - Appaling" or "2 - Horrible". And who in his/her perfect functional sane mind would watch that show AND write a review?? (I don't even know what appalling means!!)
A sh*tshow!! An overnumbered Sh*tshow!!

This series... I really didn't understand what it was the purpose/finality of the show until today, is a mystery solve show where 2 guys try to find a solution to something. Only after this moment, I could evaluate (negatively or positively) this show.
Let us see if it matches the expectations of a show of this kind, shall we? xD

I don't understand why Nagisa wants to be a detective and the Kimihiko just accepts it. Did she want to be a detective just because her heart belonged to a detective, so it seems like the idol's left eye is siesta's

Quite funny episode, Yui makes things fun, and Kimi & Nagisa both seem to improve a bit.
This antitheft job getting more interesting, a stone, a lier, and more happening behind the idol facade.
Unsure if this getting better or not, as each is like a different genre... ep1 action, ep2 drama, ep3 idol comedy.

I think she want to continue what siesta had left for her.
Yes, she can live another normal life like MC suggest but maybe since the childhood she been tied down in bed, and if it wasnt for Siesta heart she had died (she hadnt lived for any purpose), its like she is a white paper that could dyed any color, can become anyone after giving the life.
Some of her reminds me of Shouko Makinohara from bunny senpai, which hadnt thought about future because she was going to die anyway. Only she finds out which future she wants, she escaped her syndrome.

As for MC, I think he feels some regret about sudden death of previous partner and want to do something for current holder of previous partner's heart.
The nostalgic feeling which drives him to accept Nagisa.

Idk why many of you guys think this story is about collect each organ then revive. Are there some kind of anime about it?

We can say the anime has finished with the introduction and from now on it is really starting. An enjoyable and funny episode, i would say some scenes were even hilarious. It was able to light the anime after the first two episode which were more drama. I don't really like Yui as a character itself but the way they made her relate with other people is really good. Puns and jokes were delivered perfectly and the episode passed fast. But most importantly: Fubuki and Matsuri made a cameo. I wonder if also other hololive talents will appear in the anime

Better than the last episode at least. New character was okay I guess. Some if the music choices are weird, one of the ost was good. Still, the plot hasn't really picked up but I guess that's because they are doing the character introductions. MC is still being extremely boring. Also, it feels like Natsunagi's voice quality became inconsistent. I wonder where the Hololive appearance was or was it going to be present next episode? Anyway, not really interested in this at all, but guess I'll continue just to see Natsunagi in a swimsuit.

Nagisa really took the role as a detective huh. Yeh, ngl that feels really weird and off to me. Really the only reason i can deduce for her deciding to suddenly take this role as a detective, instead of doing something a bit more productive with this potentially second chance she was given, was because of this "Siesta's heart" point which feels like a flimsy one. I also really hope they don't overuse this point, that Nagisa's actions can be justified because of her "Previous owners heart", cus at the end of the day, Nagisa is Nagisa not Siesta who is actually the "legendary detective."

Also question, was Kimihiko's 4 year trip around the world with Siesta just them going to one country, mess about then come back? Or were they constantly on the road, country to country? If so does that actually mean Kimihiko got up, and casually took 4 years off school, then came back, and they let him back in like nothing happened?

Hell yes, theres the Fubuki and Matsuri collab. The future is actually now, first with Aqua, Subaru and Nene singing "Jahy-sama wa Kujikenai!" ending, no one can escape.
