| Kizumonogatari III: Reiketsu-hen: I only chose this one title from the Kizu Trilogy because ionno. It's the one that made me hooked to the entire Monogatari Series. Plus that Kiss-Shot vs Araragi fight tho, one of the top-notch fight scenes i've ever seen (yet, at least). So yeah ... If I had a chance to give it an 11/10, Imma gladly slap the movie with it. ef: A Tale of Melodies: This one just has a special place in my goddamn heart. Parasyte -the maxim-: My first battle seinen anime I've ever watched, and boi am I glad to actually pick this up as my first. I'm for sure gonna give it an 11/10 if I had the chance. |

| Koi Kaze & Inuyasha. I believe I'm also going to leave that third slot open for potential future prospects; however far off they may be. I thought about giving the slot either to Haibane Renmei or Higurashi - my third and fourth ranked entries, respectively, but upon careful contemplation I think I'm most comfortable with them where they are now - as very firm, high, and well-deserved 10s. Koi Kaze and Inuyasha are for me something which rise above even all the connotations the term "masterpiece" carries with it. They were and are my favorite experiences across mediums in all media, a source of joy and warmth and introspection in a way I genuinely consider to have enriched my own life immeasurably by just having the pleasure and honor to have come into contact with them and experience them to the fullest. Nothing has ever matched those feelings in decades of media viewing since early childhood. And I've seen a lot of content. So I wait with bated breath, but also patience and just pure curiosity, to see what may one day be able to qualify as that mystical third entry. Massive shoes to fill and kind of an unreasonably steep bar and expectations. If it does come into my life one day, I think it's something I won't be able to predict beforehand. Something I won't be able to get a good sense of from the outside looking in. Another holistic experience that will have to wash over me and for which a synopsis will not do justice. |

| I would only give an 11 to one thing. There can only be one that stands at the top. An anime hasn't reached that level for me, but I would rate the Umineko VN 11/10. Maybe a hypothetical flawless anime adaption of Umineko, but that would be a miracle. |
