| Well, of course as a series that has much love from the fans, you would expect a lot of hate as well... like any anime or manga in particular... Some reasonable ones to point out, a JoJo newbie might not like Part 1: Phantom Blood for reasons expected, drops it, and leaves. They might not think its their taste, doesn’t seem to bring them in, or it’s boring, and etc. I liked Part 1 but it’s understandable for some to feel the opposite way around it. Then, the art style. Had a friend that didn’t like it because of that sole reason. Got dropped. It’s to be expected. Nowadays, the anime industry is going for the popularity of beautiful, pretty, attractive, and skinny bishounens and bishoujos. I can see the JoJo author Araki going down this path by following his strategy of “attracting readers” for the Part 8: JoJolion manga and I think its working. Probably. Next, memes and its overuse of ‘em. Every where you go, it is either JoJo or it isn’t. Can get really annoying. “It was me, Dio!” or “Is this a JoJo reference?” seems to never get old for some apparently. And another, the oh-so constant praise of it from the fandom. Whole lots of it. Sometimes, and I repeat, sometimes, it tends to become obnoxious like the minor toxic parts of the AoT or of the MHA fandom. “The Best,” some would keep on saying, proving it as facts, then cursing the next person who disagrees, therefore ruining it for everyone. Good job, Jeremy, you just kept on saying the same phrase, scared new viewers away, AND made them think that most of our fandom is bad news. Wonderful. Don’t think I need to explain much about that. We get the gist of toxicity. I hope. Oh, and btw, I love Part 3: Stardust Crusaders just like any other Part, however it became one of my top favorite Parts for nothing but the overall “dumb” enjoyment I get out of it and it’s the Part that got me fully invested into JoJo in the first place. Though, Part 7: Steel Ball Run manga is kind of an exception. Still, haters gonna hate. *shrugs* |

| ^this guy said it. I personally don't mind the fandom being obnoxious or the memes, in fact I love it. I have rated every jojo part above an 8(with the exception of part 1) my current jojo part ranking would probably be 1) Part4 2) Part 6(currently reading) 3)Part 3/5 5)part 2 6)part 1 |

| Part 2 and 1 are the best because they ACTUALLY fight with martial arts like men. The others use Stands. When I reached Part 3 it was really depressing that they gave up on hand to hand fights. Also the gay stuff started in Part 3. Part 1 was the manliest. Part 2 was just overall the best without contest, and the only things that could be mistaken as gay were just obviously hilarious jokes (Pillar poses and Jojo dress). I think Part 3 was jokes too, but the gay stuff got way too strong in Part 4 (worst part overall). |

| It's because of the character design and the memes. About the parts... I love all parts and never understood why people hated on part 1 and even recommend people to not watch it! :'( Part 1 is awesome too. But I have a preference for part 4 because I think it has the best atmosphere. The villain is also really good. I wish we could see more of him somehow. |

| I've always preferred JoJo's when it was about using martial arts to fight vampires. I always thought it was worse when it became about using personas and being as flamboyant as possible. And the longer it goes on the more it becomes this. |
