| Definitely didn't expect that start there! I don't recall a scene like this in the manga adaption though, did this come from the light novel? Good lord, Sayu's emotionless expression. Honestly, you've to feel for her there but of course that's not to say that "living" that way was the right way to go in the first place. Mishima's teasing is fantastic meanwhile, xD. Yoshida-san better have taken a hint by now already. And then there's Gotou-san who remains mysterious and suspicious. Got a little touching in the end to top it off. Unconditional kindness doesn't necessarily bring happiness, as they say. Sayu's reaction to being half-naked towards the end of the convo was a serious bruh moment, lol. Next episode could turn out to be interesting... |

| Honestly, I respect a lot of what this show is doing and the maturity of the writing in dealing with the issues its presenting, but equally I'm really not emotionally invested in what's happening at all. I think the opening sex scene did a good job of contextualising why Sayu has such warped views on sex and relationships in general - that scene clearly shows how hollow it is for her and how she's merely being used - and Yoshida continues to handle everything thrown at him with excellent maturity. It's well-written and all, but I honestly don't care anywhere near as much as I probably should, even before considering the fact that the show's camera sexualises Sayu at almost every opportunity despite her traumatic past with sex; I've nothing against fanservice as a concept, but in this instance it feels extremely tone-deaf. The side characters also feel very bland so far, and it's so blatantly obvious that Sayu and Yoshida will get together in the end (and not just because of the fact that this is a story that exists at all). The constant repetition of Sayu asking for sex and Yoshida telling her to back off is also becoming grating already. I don't hate this or anything, but I think I've got enough shows on my plate this season that this doesn't feel worth sticking with. (EDIT: Scratch that, I'll stick with it I think) |

| We knew Sayu was doing sexual favors since ep. 1, but what concerned me about the first scene if she that would meet again one of the "partners" again in this episode,who didn't happened . But terrifies me think in the future this can happen after she had her journey to normality. Yoshida is the manliest man! |

| It's the best episode so far because of the dialogues, especially kouhai's to Sayu. Also it got a bit emotional with all the suffering Sayu's been through. Tho it's still unclear what's the real reason behind her situation, and that is clearly irking some viewers off, we'll wait for that. I think there were some unnecessary shots of Sayu's back when they were going through a emotional crescendo of sorts. I mean, a part of me enjoys that as a thigh guy, but I don't think that was a correct choice for the aforementioned scene. Besides that, great episode. I approve of Sayu protection. |

| Yo wtf?! That was Sayu before the OP??? That made me feel so bad, like for one, I actually didn't think it was her initially. Cause he kept calling her Miyuki-chan... but I suppose that a fake name is much needed in such a situation... But damn her eyes T_T They were so dead it hurts to see her just laying there, take it and wait till it's over. :( Not gonna lie, Mishima is pretty cute and she did well to try to get Yoshida's attention there, but feeling isn't mutual. Oef, Sayu had to see the hug and got extremely jealous. Poor girl. Then Mishima runs into Sayu and they had a really nice talk about running away and being nice, Yoshida now has some explaining to do to Mishima. He's gotta hope it's not gonna spread some weird rumors at his job. Sayu looks incredible in the underwear and tried to seduce Yoshida again and once again he respectfully declined the approach. The dude's a chad!!! My respect for him grows with every episode, he was very truthfully towards her on this seduction attempt and her questioning why he doesn't want to do it with her. Yes she looks fantastic, has bigger boobs than an average high school girl, has a pretty face.. but his firm believe in the connection of love is something I can admire. Their relationship might not be there yet, but it's sure to come.. Also, the more she talks about the guys she did it with, the more it hurts. I can't help but feel bad that she had no other choice. THIS SMILE NEEDS TO BE PROTECTED! This genuine smile made me so happy.  |

| That was a great episode but it's funny she tried to pounce him after having a heart to heart with who she seemed to think was his girlfriend. Sayu is with the shits. |

| This anime has tons of character development. Anyone not seeing that are too caught up with their prejudices. I love the direction of this anime is taking and the writing is superb in my book. 10/10 |

| Okay, episode 1 was alright...got me hooked, but I just thought it would be a somewhat interesting romcom. Episode 2 got me invested...I thought this show would be good, and I really starting liking the characters. This episode...MY WORD. I loved everything about this episode. The way it was able to show the damage that's been done to Sayu - she's been used so much that the only way she can feel valuable or see meaning in a relationship is through sex. The way Yoshida was able to love her (I use the word love in a non-romantic way, but damn am I looking forward to seeing him love her that way too) by showing her her value as a person and the meaning to their relationship. Speaking of which, just kudos to the guy for being honest with her, but sticking to his principles. The sheer willpower of this guy to admit that he is turned on, but that he would feel wrong to sleep with her without loving her romantically and then refusing. It's rare that a MC is done "realistically" and they end up still being a likeable guy. Kazuya from Kanokari was too simpy for most people. And characters like Hachiman or Sakuta are (frankly) just unrealistic. But Yoshida is a very relatable guy, grinding a living, pining for a girl, and deep down is just a decent guy who wants to do the right thing, though he will probably stumble along the way. And Sayu is just precious. That last scene where they had dinner and she was on the verge of tears...PROTECT. THAT. GIRL. |

| Oh god, i never would have thought they gonna show any of "that" scene especially in the beginning. Good thing i watch this in muse asia so I didn't see the worst of it. I like the middle to the end of the episode when Sayu realized that all of the good things Yoshida did to her was genuine. |

The drama is being set up Idk about you but I didn't expect to get such feels from a show with a premise such as this. | The beginning of the episode was really painful to watch, it was obvious that they would show something but it still doesn't make it any easier to watch. Sayu for sure been through a lot and her worrying is explained by that, since Yoshida doesn't "take" anything from her and instead gives her stuff. His coworker tho gets his ideas and talking in a different way xD Can't wait for more that this anime has to offer. Also, it seems that Yoshida's boss is getting jealous, oh boy! Mami v2? |

"I've lived that way for a long time, so I don't know any other way than selling my body" Somehow the scene of Yoshida and Sayu hugging made me think that they should get married, even though it's a complicated story but I still hope for a miracle. In the end Yoshida was a saint who refused the JK girl's invitation, I don't want you to do this, Hoshiiii... The last scene when Sayu has tears in her eyes is the best scene, and I will give my all to wipe those tears away.  tf is wrong with you.... |
| What's interesting about Sayu's character is how she couldn't think of herself of useful in any way besides selling her body. It shows over time that the more she sells her body, the more she's used to using it as a way to seek fulfilment as her "role" in society. It's gotten to the point where if someone rejects her body, she'll feel devastated from thinking that she can no longer fulfill the most basic role that she thinks she has. This episode was the biggest game changer because Sayu again resorted to seeking Yoshida's approval by offering her body even though he's already told her several times that he'd kick her out if she seduces him again. Why? Because jealousy brings the worst out of people. Sayu can't stand seeing Yoshida with another woman because she's getting attached to him. And her only way to cope at that point was to offer her body. That's why Yoshida rejecting her again was the turning point for her character development. Because it made Sayu realize in her biggest moment that there's more to her as a person than just selling her body for approval. Yoshida gave her what nobody else could, which was to value her presence as a person instead of an object. "Why are you letting me stay here with no strings attached? Why are you so nice to me? I don't believe in unconditional kindness." is what happens when a person ends up being treated as an object for their entire life. And you need someone like Yoshida to change that. |
