I'm pretty unsatisfied with this ending, i love this show sm but the last episode left a bitter taste in my mouth. There were a lot of characters who i thought were quite underdeveloped and a lot of questions i feel they left unanswered. It hurts to see a character like adam get a redemption arc and end up not redeeming himself, it feels a little rushed, especially when he only recognises his mistakes within the final episode. It was really frustrating to see an unsatisfactory conclusion and i really hope Bones makes a second season because there are a lot of things i think they could've developed further, like characters personal lives and so on. However the last episode is only one of many which are amazing, i love these characters and i really do hope we get to see them more in a second season. I give this show an 8/10 if there were more episodes then maybe the ending would've been more satisfying :) |

fuk that was a dope ending, nice to see adam at least find his original purpose again after he literally turned it into skateboard warfare and also nice to see each chara get their happy ending (well apart from Shadow lmao) But overall, this was a very pleasent watch. Already the Initial D style with actual focus on the side characers was neat to see, and I especially loved the eps that dealt with Reki's insecurites over his abilites, honestly that kind of writing makes it feel like the author experienced it first hand herself lol. BL jebait/10 swixzy said: it doesn't really make sense for langa to be the one to wake adam up from his insanity. it makes lots of sense tbh. The whole season Langa's skateboarding has been shown to have been driven by enjoyment, rather than some other purpose. He's the only one apart from Reki to do so (all the other skateboarders have their external reasoning for doing it). Before, ADAM too was one who skateboarded for fun but when he got busted and forced to quit, his skateboarding turned into a more narcissitic one. He wasn't skateboarding for fun anymore, he was skateboarding make sure everyone knows that he is the best In racing against Langa, ADAM starts to realize his past self and how he used to skateboard for fun, like when Langa offered him his skateboard to continue to race together rather than just yeeting off into the distance. Something which none of the other characters apart from Reki would've really done (but Reki is too slow to compete against ADAM by conventional means) And it's also shown in the zone thingy when Langa catches up, he doesn't pass ADAM or stays behind him, he rides alongside him showing he's only doing this skateboarding because he finds it fun swixzy said: and what was the point of the whole inspector/adam getting exposed subplot if it literally went no where? I forgot what most of it was about, but I'm pretty sure the purpose was to show how adam is starting to be less self centered after the duel with langa. Like the whole premise was he was caught up in a scandal act that could potentially ruin his image, so he was going to choose to use the butler dude as bait. But after the langa beef, he becomes less selfish and is willing to take the heat himself, rather than using a scapegoat though ye the butler blushing at being called a dog was kinda weird though :P |

I'm just mad at this episode. I wouldn't say its bad, i dunno mabye I just invested myself too much or something. Up until the part where Langa's dad appears (great moment and much appreciated btw) I loved it. And the thing about the zone was defininitely interesting, but i enjoyed Reki's race infinitely more. Which, considering this was the finae, is a bit weak. Another problem, I feel, is how much the writers try to make ADAM reletable or redeem him. I understand gving depth to the chatacters and maing the villain more sympathetic. And just with the backstory and some coments from Tadashi here nd there the depth would be achieved. However, considering how he was first presented making, I think, that would have been where to stop, HE ISN'T A LIKEABLE CHARACTER or at least he wasn't made to be one. And thats fine, i fact, he was a great anatagonist then. I don't kno if I'm explaining myself well. Anyway, I loved the ending sequence (so cute!!) and scene, this was cearily set up for another season, and I really wanna see it. If we get one, one never knows. I really hope we do though, the last episodes were pretty rushed (understandably, no shame to the crew) and still left things pretty unwrapped. PD: Seaariously guys the queerbaiting isn't fun anymore. PLEASE, JUST ONCE, MAKE IT UNDENIABLY CANON! I understand if some people doesn't like shipping, but a "oh, yeah that too, I love you" woudn't hurt anyone, they just have to acknowledge it once. |

I might be missing something but for real, that scene felt awful and super OOC. No desire to stay with him? lol Tadashi has never expressed wanting to be "free" from Adam, were we watching the same show? This man was so devoted and loyal like damn it would make no sense if he left lol All He wanted was to free ADAM from skateboarding because he thought Adam was unhappy because of it. What he failed to realize is that what messed Adam up was the fact their environment was very abusive and then Tadashi gave up on him because of the societal pressure and the family. If anything that scene for super in character for their dynamic lol Oh, so I did miss something I guess... |

It's not about winning, it's about having fun... and I think that perfectly sums up Sk8. An incredibly simple, yet extreme, show. It's so over-the-top, ridiculous, and cheesy... and that made it charming. The music this episode really added to already awesome animation. Very hype. The ending montage was so wholesome, I loved it. I think the conclusion is a little messy, the characters could have been better explored, and I would prefer less ambiguous LGBT representation, but overall... fun indeed. Edit: Oh... and Tadashi... Not to kink shame... but if a man proposes to you by calling you a dog... and you say yes with a blush and a smile... um- |

I ge what you mean thou, I think more than free from Ainosuke himself, he wanted from ADAM. Like he wanted to serve him but not the person he became. Aside from all the guilt he wanted to get rid off and his need to see Ainosuke happy. I guess Tadashi wanted to serve him like when they where younger, when he was (even if just a bit) more appreciated and when Ainosuke was happy. I don't know if this makes sense, I can defenitely see why you got the impression of him wantiing to get away. Mabye, it isn't completely wrong either, and it would certainly be helthier (but, oh well! we got that wierd confusing scene at the end, whatever that was) |

Adam was a fcking serve from start to finish with the theatrics, the concept change, The Grim Reaper Fit (talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever done before). Tadashi and Adam going from repressed and broken up to secretive and together--good for them(!). Kudos to Koyasu Takehito for a stellar performance and to Utsumi Hiroko the mad lad for once again simply going "Yes, I have a bias in the cast". The whole "Technically, I am denouncing corrupt politicians so as to aid my own political rise" twist had me a little gagged, but the officer lady getting that camouflaged promotion was a bit of a bummer. It also would have been nice to have actually gotten some sort of hint that Reki would balance some technical venture in the shop that actively develops and branches out those skills of his with his love for skating, but alas. (And please get Miya a couple of same-aged friends, it's time) SK8 was a really fun weekly watch and I'm glad to see it mostly stick the landing, even with a couple of production bumps and what is sure to be an even more unpredictable current environment than usual. |

Sk8 is g8 m8 I r8 8... ...actually scratch that, with that bombastic final episode I'm willing to give it a 9. The show was just great overall. The characters were flamboyant (specially ADAM) and their interactions were quite entertaining, the character development didn't feel forced, the opening and ending sequence were catchy and really well animated, in sum there's a lot to take form this show. I'll probably watch it again at some point. PS: The fujobait is real. |

I don't see why people didn't like this end. A lot of people are saying that Adam's and Langa's race didn't make sense, but i disagree. It makes sense that Langa is the only one to bring Adam out of his insanity because Adam is obsessed with Langa, Adam sees nobody but Langa. He believes Langa is his eve, being this the case Langa is like Sunshine when he's skateboarding. Which makes him the only one strong enough to show Adam that he isn't obsessed with him but the idea of skateboarding being fun. I don't think Tadashi can bring Adam back from insanity, because Tadashi simply doesn't have the confidence to do so. Also Tadashi no longer views skateboarding as fun, which thats the feeling Adam is missing but doesn't realize it. Overall i would give this anime a solid 8. It had comedy, thrill and character development. |

The ending could have been better imo. I love the show from beginning to end but I have to agree that some scenes could be written better. Adam shouldn't even have a redemption and the red haired policewoman should have arrested him like why was she even there in the first place. Also Tadashi deserves better (and therapy istg). I'm pretty happy with Reki and Langa's relationship, after episode 10 it was fairly obvious that do have romantic feelings for each other and we don't need them to kiss to prove that. Wish I could have seen more of them in the final episode. This show needs a season 2, I want to see more of the characters. Never thought that I would be deeply invested in this show when I first watched it. It could be better but overall I reallt enjoyed watching it. |

Lol. A funeral outfit with a coffin board. When the tailor said, wedding, then Adam simply grinned disapprovingly with that vibes, obviously it went to that route. However, Langa the hero wouldn't be easy to be defeated. By the power of fun and friendship everything could be possible in the middle of impossibility. You need to be more paid attention to your surrounding, Adam. Eve surely wouldn't left you alone when you didn't blink your eyes, at 'that' point. Ah, yes, and understandable execution to led to that route. Well, as an expected end. Ranga simply taught the madlad a common sense, and not just always relying on that bullshit zone. Wake up, Ainosuke-sama! Victory to your hero, Langa, the true mc! The later execution of their conclusion also alright. Its actually good. Miya had a better relations with his school friend. Adam and his dog had a happy end (rip to that pretty lady, your little contribution really beneficial to their relations). Joe and Cherry kept awesome on their own way. Then, duo mcs, ended their fun with such a nice beef. Okay, i can't say much to the real bro Shadow. He really need such a peaceful place after that moment. Thats truly a sad ending xd. Overall, this is an alright show. The bait always caught in a nice place, while the drama kinda silly and mostly too expected at a several forms. I am obviously expecting too much at that time, and well, i certainly choose a simple fun ride, not that. In short, if only Leki got more recognition as the mc, it will be better, not just simply relied on Langa until the end. But, for me, its just a fine show with a nice finale. Thats it all from me. |

unexpectedly one of the best shows in the entire season i love all of the characters and the concept of "s" that final battle was absolutely insane and way above my expectations. The animation and music was actually 10/10 Adams whole outfit and the old course looked crazy good too now Adam is finally coming around too. Hopefully he can show his aunties the door or something and starts hanging with the squad F for my man shadow at the end and miyas friends are back on the scene which is good for him i hope, ofc cherry and joe still going at it though lmao its a great thing to have a friendship like reki and langa, especially at the end there im definitely gonna check out the manga if there is a continuation |

Finally this mess is over and for the mess it was the ending was decent. I really hate it when events become obvious af in sports anime and this was a prime example of that. Everything in the later half of this anime was pretty obvious. Anyway okayish anime overall, the concept was really cool but overall execution was bland. Also I feel bad for Shadow damn. |

I'm not sure what to think of this episode. Admittedly, it was fun to watch. The visuals and scenes were great, the interactions were nice, the MUSIC was awesome - not only the insert song but the entire soundtrack (then again, I do have a soft spot for violin and piano). So, then, what's wrong? Well... I feel iffy about ADAM's whole "redemption". The fact that it came after him legit assaulting his opponents, which he never faces any consequence for. The fact that it was triggered by Langa, whom he didn't really have much of a relationship, or indeed any connection with (save his own one-sided obsession). The fact that it came and went in a few minutes. The fact that after all that, he gets to crash the victory party, because of course he does, quite literally - and then after that, he even gets away scot-free with whatever charges were looming above his head, and gets away with them by resuming his own shady questionable ways like nothing's happened. It's iffy at best, and I'm not sure it sends the best message. I'm also altogether fatigued by the baiting. Sitting next to each other in the car, behind everyone else, perfectly hidden - no holding hands because that'd be too gay, not even an encouraging squeeze, no arm around the neck as they reminisce about Langa's rocky start, not a single touch, nothing. "After the finals are over" - and it fades to inaudible, because of course it has to. Sure, that finish line hug was cute/funny, but more of a crash-landing than anything else. And after everything, technically, we don't even get to see them ride off into the sunset because the camera moves away - hell, they didn't even get to say "GO!"... Gimme a break. As cute as they are together and as nice as it would be - it does not happen. It never happens. If anything, the anime just hammers it home even more that the takeaway here is "skating is fun". They did it with Miya, they did it with ADAM, they did it with SHADOW, they did it with Cherry and Joe, they did it with Reki and they did it with Langa. That's all there is to it, and for that, it really didn't need all the shipbait scenes... but of course not having those would've alienated all the fujos/fudans and narrowed the potential audience to a smaller size. Yeah, I'm tired of the blueballing, sorry not sorry. I gotta say, the biggest surprise that I absolutely loved.... honestly a little disappointed with the ending. the episode itself was mostly enjoyable, the beef was exciting, but the beef itself ended quickly with no interaction after the race was over between adam and the others. i also felt like it wrapped up a little too neatly for my liking. personally, i wanted more cherry, joe, and adam backstory than the, like, 5 minutes we were given earlier in the series... also he just gets away with his crimes? seems strange to me that is just worked out for him i don't know if that ending really lent itself to a second season, but if this is all we get from sk8 the infinity, im overall pleased with the series but wanted more from this episode! |

Poor Shadow not getting the girl in the end. 😆😆😆 Either way this was quite the journey, a fun and comforting show. Sad to see it go so soon but fun nonetheless! 🛹 |

Thought it was a fine enough finale. The purple coloring during the match was visually pleasing to say the least |

Ok, but can we talk about how there was no mention of how beat up Reki was after his race with ADAM? dude got beat up and tossed around, but he's just fine...haha I still loved the show and the episode. I would want to see more T_T |

I really liked a lot about this ending. The part where Langa sees his father was really touching to me, and I loved how in the end everyone (aside from Shadow, RIP dude you deserved better) sort of got a happy ending and to reconnect with their past, including Miya talking to his old friend again. And of course, the final race between Reki and Langa. We didn't get to see the results, but it fits the end message. The takeaway is that skating is more about having fun and being with people you care about. Also, the music and animation in this episode was some of the best the series had. Though I HATED that Adam got off with no major consequences. Oh wow he fell over a bit, big deal. Most of the other characters have wiped out worse and gotten up to fight another day. The only way I could justify this decision is that maybe there's a season 2 planned where he's going to be a villain again, but in the end he appeared to change at least a little, so what would be the point of that? If there's a season 2, I also want to see more with Reki's friend who taught him to skate. I feel like we haven't seen the last of the SK8 universe, and would love to see where they take it from here. |

The entire last beef felt like an attempted murder by Adam XD And funny how everyone just forgot all the shit that Adam did in the name of skating. Whatever happens I just cannot bring myself to feel bad about Adam or whatsoever. Really wanted to see him get arrested :/ Felt super bad for Joker for not being able to confess to his manager. The visuals in this episode were really beautiful. I think from the whole season this show did a fantastic job with its animation. All the episodes were fairly really consistent despite having really tough skating sequences. |

Perfectly satisfying ending to this fun show, I doubt there'll be a season 2, they ended it pretty well. Though that doesn't mean a season 2 isn't possible, I think there are still things they could do. If not a season 2 an OVA could be possible someday though. That new Adam drip was dope, dude we whole ass ready to kill Langa lmao. R.I.P. Shadow, forever stuck in the friendzone. That boy Tadashi really the happiest he's ever been after being called Adam's dog forever lmao. Reki and Langa now skating infinitely into the sunset, kinda wished we saw them have a beef together, but I am still satisfied. Imma give a solid 8/10 for SK8. |

As sports anime go I seen quite the amount of stinkers your typical guy needs to do something in high school joins club make friends. Throw in a tournament. But this anime set the bar on what a sport can and should be. You can the team behind love skateboarding and gave it everything they had to make it great. As for a season 2 it doesn't need one they wrapped everything up so nicely. The only thing I would change about this show was the whole political plot of trying to expose Adam that amounted to nothing in the end. If you take that out entirely it changes nothing. All it was an amazing show 5/5 |
