Non Non Biyori. Its not really an unique style(character art wise), but the show has so many beautiful and detailed countryside shots. It almost feels like you can smell the clean countryside air through your screen.

I guess it is all a matter of taste.

Aria the Animation (and its sequels)
Kekkai Sensen

Taiho Shichau zo - Somewhat of a left field choice but the OVA series has some stunning traditional cel animation that really is a visual treat to watch. Some of the best the 90's had to offer.

well yes, but i also disagree. i believe there can be a objective "good aesthetics" and "bad aesthetics", despite what all the art guru's say. So i'm looking for the greater consensus of the best aesthetic anime

I am surprised nobody here as called BRS (OVA) yet.

In terms of stylization, lighting and color usage, one could argue that Black Rock Shooter was among the top of graphics when the OVA first came out. I personally am still a big fan of the art, particularly the backgrounds and character design still to this day.

With 3-gatsu no lion, we have an such a great use of color that does so much for the anime's atmosphere and feeling, it really makes it stand out visually. It doesn't create any Wow-effects, the appeal lies completely in the feeling it generates however.

Though in terms of imagery and display, Genius Party's short Dimension Bomb is mostly comprised of scenes that create a sense of scale and mystery. It has aged a bit and you notice in the image quality, but what the creators show just hooks you into this unique world and knows to impress. Ultimately, it succeeds well in creating an artistic display, like a changing, 20-minute long portrait.
There's a good reason why it has so many AMVs

The best anime by ascetics, art style and how the animation flows, The best i've ever seen is the Dragon Ball Super Broly Movie. That was great. Also Mob Psycho 100. Both are amazing to watch.

Man...i think "beautiful anime" and "aesthetic anime" is different right?

For me. Stuff with stunning visual and animation like violent evergarden, your name, etc etc is called "beutiful" or any synonim of that world

For aesthetic in other hand, i preferred stuff that unique or gimmick and really hard to find in other anime. It can seems bad for one person, but also can be really beautiful or cool for different eyes.
Things like ping-pong, hidamari sketch, lupin, aria, pop team epic, teekyuu ghibli stuff, urahara, etc is come to my mind if talking about aesthetic.

Anyways my choice for aesthetic is always Urahara because of its unique visual and also the reasoning for that said visual is very clear.

Oh boy, that depends on what kind of aesthetics we're talking about. Background art or Designs? Realism or abstract art? Consistency or Creativity? Animation or still imagery?

There's a million different aesthetics that I love - the sheer variety of styles has always been my favorite part of art and animation. Whether it's the sketchy, movement-centric aesthetics of Ping Pong, the serene beauty with a ton of digital filters of Violet Evergarden or the Moebius-like background art of an obscure OVA like Dragon's Heaven. From Ghibli aesthaetic to Trigger/Gainax aesthetic to KyoAno aesthetics, I like and appreciate them all in different ways, for different reasons. I can't pick just one or two styles.
I probably regret this post by now.

this is a good description of your opinion, and yes in essence beautiful and aesthetic is different. i would say that promare and Children of the Whales are aesthetic but not necessarily beautiful
