the plot in this particular episode at first seems to make no sense, but after a closer look I find that it really makes no sense at all.

Wow, I mean I like SAO, but this is just too much. It's kinda dumb that Cardinal pretty much just died for no reason. Yeah, people say that she was at a dead end and what not, but if only Eugeo had realized his whole thing sooner, like transforming into a sword, Cardinal would still be alive. It's such a waste that she died without even putting up a fight. I mean clearly Administrator wouldn't even think twice about keeping her end of the bargain either.

It almost disappointed me but couldn't laugh win Eugeo's sword broke in half.

They had me excited in the first couple episodes. I mean I enjoyed some of the new characters. But the thing with the spider. Why? Almost everything up to this point, just feels forced... synthesis. (Geddit? Just like my joke hue hue)

I wouldn't be surprised if Eugeo came back after this by some miracle bullshit.
Why did Cardinal have to sacrifice herself again? Quinella would still attack them, like why the hell wouldn't she? Unless maybe that "promise" was in itself some kind of a program and part of Cardinal's plan maybe?
I also didn't quite understand why Eugeo's "love" is any more powerful than the 300 other people's love for the people they wan't to meet again, but maybe I misunderstood something there.
I hope the last fight will be more satisfying than what we had so far.

I could damage your robot and take out half of your life force, severely limiting your magic powers. Instead I'll politely ask you not to kill my friends, die, and ask them to fight to the death. Good thing I left you at full strength. If only there were someone here who's whole schtick isn't letting people die. Sadly, there's just a guy who watches two of his friends perish without lifting a finger.

This whole arc has just felt like a bargain-bin rip-off of the real SAO. The 2nd cour really needs to up it’s game.
Less pointless talking, more action. And Asuna needs to turn up at some point too. This whole show basically lives on the connection between her and Kirito.

at this point.... I have no idea what I'm watching any more... all I know are two things: 1st. somehow this managed to surpass all past SAO content in terms of irrationality and 2nd thing, I'm certain that this... whatever I'm seeing, is of the disposable variety

Idk if this has been discussed yet, but it's a lot of text to read and I don't really have a lot of time rn so sorry if this has been discussed before.

Near the end of the episode, administrator says to Kirito: "I'll ask the other boy from the outer world why you were here". Who does this refer to?

This was weird, no other way to describe this episode. Cardinal was supposed to be able to fight one-on-one in combat with Quinella, but here she stood no chance even with the other 3 allies standing there.

Nevertheless, now it's Kirito against Quinella. Let's see if they do fight with their swords after all, would be nice!

They still ended up destroying that "human" sword machine and fought Quinella. What was the point of all that drama and sacrifice? If I understood correctly, they didn't want to fight that machine because it's made up of hundreds of human souls, and Quinella agreed to let them go once Cardinal sacrificed herself. That was weird plot development.

Sword can't operate without their user so quinella used the stolen emotion from the knights which include the original childhood friend alice.

Eugeo turning himself into a big sword and merging it with the og Alice, like I'm glad he at least get to reunite with his childhood friend before his death.

Now that eugeo get together with OG alice, it's okay for kirito to include the current Alice into his harem, right?? (≧ロ≦)

So quinella's body can be penetrated huh, big chance for kirito next episode ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
