Isekai might be overdone AF, but tbh I don't care. I'll probably still enjoy it more than most of "unique" titles, even if I forget about it week later.

I will never get bored of isekais, I'll always watch them no matter how bad they are, and so will the guys that complain about them.
Of course there's gonna be a lot of isekais if people keep watching them, despite complaining about them.

I mean, at least it's being honest. Also, we're down to this but still no Mushoku Tensei adaptation?

You can clearly see how popular the novel is around here, not to mention the amount of great reviews it's getting and the amount of new translated chapters being released everyday shows how much the translators love it.

Seriously though they should really pick better isekai novels to adapt. But you know they might be picking the really bad ones first and getting us used to the normal isekai trend and moving to the more unique ones like tensei slime, arifureta, mushoku tensei, etc. or they're just idiots who have potatos running their train of thought instead of an actual brain.

Since we're getting two people into the fantasy world instead of one who hogs all the ladies, I can't wait to see how big (or small) of a change this is!

Can't say I'm hyped, but definitely interested!

Won't work! Unless they dont decide on a 100+ episode anime, I cant see MT will succeed. Every event is important and they cannot easily skip things especially the Seinen tag will be hard pressed on them to make such a long anime

I'm not expecting a complete adaptation, just 12 episodes (24 by a miracle) would be standard. The Seinen here is quite tame (no on-screen sex or gritty violence), and the younger years would be interesting if adapted well. There are plenty of anime far more violent, sexual, and worse story-wise, adapted from 20+ volume series with only 12 episodes. But Mushoku Tensei has a large dedicated fan base, and plenty of potential to draw in new fans and make whoever is producing it money. So unless there is a bidding war between rights to the series, it just seems like a missed opportunity.

There is no real antagonist within 12 episodes so it would be boring for the first season (if you want to split it to a series). It will likely end the same as Death March, storywise too plain for a second season.
24 or 25 episodes sounds better, convering until reaching home and first turn point (they still have to speed up too many things), though leaving a really unsatisfying cliff hanger.

The story can be interesting without the villain. In the book it take more than half the series to set up a main villain. The MC faces plenty of challenges and adversaries up before then. It would also include plenty of adventure if it did cover the first 6 books. Even 3 books would set it up for a good sequel point.

Guys, here are 2 examples of Isekai story where the MC has male comrades in his group :

1. Kenja no Mago
2. Hai to Gensou no Grimgar

Coincidentally, both are non-harem Light Novels, with the MC loving and loyal to only one girl. In Mago, only that one heroine loves the MC, and no other girls of the female cast would harbor any romantic feelings for the MC nor flirt with him. Heck, there are almost zero lucky sukebe moments between the MC and other non-Heroine girls in the story, therefore it's a true non-harem story unlike Rakudai Kishi, where Ikki is still surrounded by girls with not one proper male comrade( girly guys doesn't count).

Not Isekai, but Darling Franxx's MC is also loyal to one girl, and non-harem too ( Love triangle doesn't count as harem, and Mitsuru is not gay for the MC nor does he seek a romantic relationship with the MC like Ichigo, so he doesn't count )

I am someone that would like to watch a Harem Anime with 2 male leads that each gets their own harem company of girls from the main cast. For example, 1st male lead gets a company of 4 girls and 2nd male lead gets 2-3 girls etc.
