Sorry to say this here but ReLife 1st season was so painful to watch for me. I was about to drop it but glad i didn't. At least in the final arc i enjoyed my time with it. Storytelling, musics and story itself was so mediocre. Two things i will remember about the anime which will be the good opening and happing ending <3

There were no reason to say us the 1st one is hishiro in the first place and there were no point to hide they have a chance to remember each other at the end. Story has so many blanks in it which i really disliked about it.

6.5/10 for me

This was truly a beatiful way to end the show... I really enjoyed. I mean so much that I binge watched it in one night lol. The ending was sweet albeit predictable. I had grown to love each and every one of these characters so a sweet ending for the main characters was nice. I wish we could've seen what happened to the rest of the cast.

Rewatching , cause my first was on a TV version , now bluray , it didnt change a lot , and theres still that strange plot problem

The firqt time i watched it i was like "you take a pill and everyone forget you ? I guess its just a lie cause it doesnt look possible except with big science that they clearly dont have"
So when the part when they were hugging and were sad hapened , i couldnt find it sad

And when later they did forget , well its where i had to down the score a lot cause story is important in this anime yet they didnt explained it well , the lack lf answer when the question "is it realy possible ?" Was asked , it was almost like they want us to think its fake

Theres anime that give fake information to make the story better latter , such as thoses 3 first epiqode of madoka magica
And theres relife that give fake information only to make you dislike the ending

Still , 7/10 my most used score , the story was wrongly made , but it was nice to watch and funny and sometimes sad , and i realy liked that they give us a first bad ending only to give us a post ending being the good one , it remind me of Mirai nikki
Loli world is just a cute world full of cute meat

I cried so much at both of the peaks this episode had, at the end it was a straight fountain of tears and joy. While it feels sad for them to lose all the friends they made along the way they still have the memories and perhaps even more importantly they still have each other.

Even though the ending was pretty good, overall the series was pretty bland.
It had a few remarkable moments, but storytelling and animation was lackluster.

The source material is probably better.

In season 1 I said that I wasn't satisfied enough with the end of the season and I repeat myself, it turns out that there was a second season and I have chills all over my body because of how happy the end of the series was, and how fun that in the end I didn't give up watching this anime it was good and good it was 10000/10

I wish they fleshed the "in-between" a bit more, But I'm safely satisfied with the conclusion.
Although, I am a little curious how the kids were effected though.

Man what a fun anime this was. I feel bad about how it will end up forgetting all the stuff they have spent together. But well, at least the two who were part of the program and succeeded even get to meet each other and possibly become lovers. Great anime imo

Read the manga! It's even better than the anime. Those 4 eps tried to compress the relationships and nuances of 120 chapters and failed spectacularly.

Don't get me wrong, it have been 4 good episodes with a nice ending, but everything is so shallow and there are parts that aren't even animated at all...

The manga had me in its clutches so hard that I spent a night reading instead of sleeping! Really resonated with me.

Anime (these 4 eps): 6/10
Manga: 12/10

The source material is MUCH better, these 4 episodes are soo condensed, please go read the source material someday, when you don't remember as much, you will have a much-improved experience, enough to make the difference.

You would feel powerless and at the mercy of what the manga wants, it will make you feel like shit, it will make you feel such bliss that you will be grinning all day long like a fool, and it in the end it will leave permanent mark, you will NOT ever forget it.
Also, for a manga it is full color.

So this is how it ends huh... Precious friends and precious memories, all left behind in such short notice. With a simple; "Thank you so much!" both Kaizaki and Hishiro fade from everyone's memory with only ghostly pictures and the consequences of their actions be the only reminder of their existence. It saddens me to know that this is all over, but it hurts me to see both Kaizaki and Hishiro knowing full well that they will be forgetting one another despite how much each of them cared for one another. The ship between these 2 new couples will soon to begin to fade as ReLife comes to an end.

I'm happy that Kaizaki found the job that he has passion for, helping people with the experiences he had in life. Knowing full well that Oga's big brother is a NEET, it's only right for him to be helped first by Kaizaki. But it only gets better for him afterwards, seeing a familiar figure during a typical night at the bar.

I screamed madly when Kaizaki and Hishiro saw each other. Then again when they're alone discussing their own ReLife experiences. Thanks to the memorable moments they've gone through together, each of them managed to break the obstacle of the mind-erasing drugs. Thanks to the memorable moments they've shared together during their ReLife, it's now possible for them to share more memorable moments together in their Life from now on as they have now regained their full memories. If they have never taken the leap to enjoy their moments and create memorable memories during their ReLife, they may never have even managed to regain these lost memories once they're back in their RealLife. I'm absolutely glad that this is how it ended, the ship that has faded soo break out of the mist and sailed toward a bright and heartwarming future!

Of course, I felt that this ending was rushed, I don't know to what extent, but it does feel rushed. However, I absolutely love how it's handled. There's no bullshit of a string attached here, it's rushed but it's a solid fucking ending that made me teared up during some of its emotional scenes.

ReLife really showed me that I need to cherish every single waking moments I have possible with my friends, while they're still here within my reach right now as time... is limited.

After finishing both the series and its final arc, I thought it was really good. I don't have any big complaints but reading some of the posts here made me realize that this didn't cover the source material well, but I've never read it so I thought it was fine.

I might check out the manga for more details but otherwise, it was a fun ride.

As if high school graduation scenes aren't already emotional to begin with, there was a obvious deeper emotional subtext given the plot context. Relife experiment is over, Kaizaki does a clever choice into joining it as a full job (it may seem obvious in hindsight but i immediately appreciated it) and obviously he meets with Hoshiro again and something made them remember. i would have been happy even if they never met again, but how everything was handled has satisfied me enough, even if i'm not aware of lost in adaptation details. Now, does Relife exist for real and where can i apply? (...)
