| I hope they change the pacing for the next arc. They destroyed this arc... Is it just me or is the pacing even worse then S1? |
| Pretty cool battle, some questionable cg monsters aside. So lizard tribes have won....for now. But will Cocyutus and Ainz really let them go? |

| It seems like the Lizard men are taking this thanks to Zaryusu for defeating that Iguva creepy looking guy. I wonder what will Ains do now since Cocytus has used their trump card and the war seems to be against them. Loved this ep, although the duel in the first half was short and lame. How I wish it wasn't a 13 ep anime and it was more. |

There will probably be some ainz yes, but not nearly as much as in season 1. That's how Overlord is. If you expect the season to be all about ainz going around being op you might as well drop the series right now instead of whining cause this is how it's gonna be from now on. --- Anyway, I enjoyed the episode. I think the battle finished a little bit too quickly and I'm not too fond of the CGI, but hey-ho |

| actually kinda don't like lizardman arc in LN,but its pretty enjoyable to watch the anime version of the arc than when i read the volume,but it is short and still pretty boring also,what anime only need to know and understand is Overlord will not always focus with Ainz and Nazarick,they will also focus with people in the new world,so you anime only need to be more patient |

| wow basically 80-85% of the novel done in like 36 minutes Guess they really put the focus on the men of the kingdom arc. Guess it's for the better since those 2 volumes are on of the best in the series so far. The pacing is way too fast. |

| Obvious fast pacing, they should have atleast kept the wine and drug ritual scene to show them preparing for battle. Cocytus rushing in without thinking and screws up but ainz expected this. Heroic OST for the lizards who triumph over the undead :) |

| what would happen to Cocytus? did he get scolded for losing the battle? I think Ainz have more something planned for those lizard and why he doesn't want Cocytus to enter the battle. |
| Well we don't get to see lizard men in action very often, so this episode was pretty decent. That Icy Bursto though... More tail wagging please... |

| I liked the lizards more than I thought I would but im ready for them to be gone. This was probably the best episode so far but still underwhelming. |

| Its a bit okay than the last wk episode hopefully they fasten the pace to end this arc so we can to much more better arc I dont hate the lizard but with limited episode I think they should prioritize the more important arc |

| Holy crap they steamroll this arc, litterally half of the volume in one episode. Action is based, pure animation without those effects crap. really well done. Basically Ainz wanted to test whether the NPCs are capable of growth and to test if they could do something not on their setting. Testing Cocytus which is a musclebrain to be a strategist is a stupid job, Albedo could do it way better. Ains also wanted undead lizardmen because they are more powerful than undead human. Next episode might explain everything.... or not. |

Remember when Ainz was commenting how human corpses make for low level undead. That's when Albedo reveals that demiurge found a village of lizardment. This Village. | i thought the war would be in the next episode....but here it is...good thing that its over(even though a bit rushed)... the war was ok, not as much as i expected at last did cocytus made some kind of plan? wanna know what it is(1week to go T_T) I guess this arc is just OKAY |

| Damn, they're gonna skip the best scene of the arc. What a shame. This is why I said they should've used the movie(s) for this arc and continued the second season with the Men of the Kingdom arc. |

I understand that they need a lot of episodes for the other 2 volumes(or is it 3?) considering there are a lot of set ups, but they shouldn't have put those intermissions in the anime in the first place if they didn't have time to animate one of the best arcs in the light novel. Feel the same. What is the point of showing us this battle if none of the ability they showed that inspired Cocytus respect was really shown and what is the point of seeing this battle if all the feelings, sentiment and passion of the ones in it seem to not be there. If you are gonna bother showing the lizard arc and have all those anime fans that just want to see Ainz being badass etc feel disappointed, then you should do it correctly or else why bother frustrating those people and the ones that wanted it to be nicely done? In the end you satisfy no one like that. Hell a big reason many simply hate this lizardment and don't care about them is not only becausde they want to see Ainz but because this lizarment weren't built well enough to make them care enough to enjoy their story and fight. Rororo running threw those fireballs and the struggle to get close to Iguvna etc was a big heroic moment yet here it was nothing but a flimsy scene in a fast battle. All sentiment lost. |

| Goddamn these honorable Lizard Men being used for testing and experimentation, why won't they grovel and die already! If this arc would run any longer, I might start to care for them even just a bit! >_< |

| Tbh, even in manga the Lizard Arc was much better than this... this didn't tell any of Nazarick POV or Cocytus POV at all , felt so rushed and might be boring for anime-only viewers but i didn't mind they fasten up everything, since this arc was so-so it's just unfortunate they didn't even show the most interesting part in this arc. |
