The theme emphasizes on regret, as there is a scene where a clock's pendulum swings in the background, and the wife (who is also in the background) gets older with every swing signifying the passage of time. Before the pendulum swings one last time over the wife (which would signify death for her), the old man tries to prevent it it by pushing against it. This is less literal and more of being metaphorical. I think the art style had a washed out appearance with a lack of colour, possibly a water colour style. If it helps, I believe I saw the scene from a Digibro video. |
