| wow i tried to hold my tears back, but that scene was just way too impactful. A very beautiful end to Mayoi's story. Koyomi is just such a loving character.. he would live his entire life together with mayoi just so she can keep on living and continue to be the lost cow.. he's not thinking very rational most of the times but no matter what he does, everything comes from his heart.. this season is just on another level compared to the rest of the series.. enjoyed every arc so far, great stories. |

| Due to some accidental spoiling I knew that it was happening, but not when and how. And I didn't really expect that it goes down this way... While the episode was great, I'm REALLY going to miss Hachikuji. Araragi's interactions with her were some of my favourite moments of the whole series (so far). Just this once, I just want it to be retconned... |

| The Gaen clan huh? It's one of the mystery of the series, I guess/ So.... the Darkness is like some sort of law of nature eh? Nothing they can do about it, it just do its job, nothing personal. In that case is Araragi doing his job as an Aberration ? Well now that explains why Hachikuji disappear on the ending. Hachikuji really is fated to disappear, well Araragi can still visit her on another route. Farewell Hachikuji.......... If I'm not mistaken the one that Araragi has not yet kiss from his harem is Kanbaru and Hanekawa. That Ougi definitely need to be investigated. After Araragi's hardwork of collecting those girl now they disappear 1 by 1. The next arc title "Hitagi's end" 0.o , she could be next, but this series like to twist our expectation which I liked. Like "Shinobu's time", unexpectedly the one that has to go is Mayoi. |

| I haven't cried like this in a while. My favorite girl is gone. Why is this arc called Shinobu Time when the major incident is about Mayoi? I feel bamboozled. |
| Gosh, I cried a lot. Hachikuji is the best girl, why is she also so unlucky to have such a short life... I definitely will miss her, the moments of her interactions with Araragi always were the funniest and most favorite for me. |

| Omg. I'm so sad. Hachikuji was my favourite character (apart from Araragi himself of course). Although, as sad as it is, I'm glad this is the sort of show that's willing to pull the trigger on characters we've grown to love. It has a greater impact than so many other anime where they find some roundabout way though plot armour to save the character. |

| Damn Monogatari.... why do you gotta do me like that? Making me tear up and shit.. Damn the OST really made this more emotional. Man I'm gonna miss Hachikuji, she was one of my favorite characters. Pretty cool how it went back to Koyomi and Ougi in the classroom from the beginning of the arc. |

| Wow, this was an emotional ep. Who would thought the person the darkness was after was Hachikuji. That didn't even cross my mind. However, I found it a bit strange that she hadn't gone to the afterlife. She was a ghost after all. Nevertheless, I didn't give a lot of thought to it. Anyways, she pretended to be asleep just to be more with Araragi. Now that's cute. Also, what a sneaky girl. She never stuttered. It was all an act. She could have become a great actor. I got to give a lot of credits to the VA of her character. She did a superb job when she was about to pass away. Her voice made it all twice as sad. It was truly more than any of our hearts could take and it hit us right in the kokoro. Their last passionate kiss melted our heart and her last smile and at the same time hearing her say she loved Araragi made us speechless What a sad ep., and no doubt the saddest so far. PS. It was a bit funny that she had to stay on the shoulders of Ononoki-chan, but let's not ruin the moment. :P Lastly, I actually wanted to see the animation of the favor Gaen was asking for in the next arc, but hopefully, it will be animated eventually. |

| Phenomenal fucking episode! Hachikuji T_T, that kiss and the last "Sorry, I stuttered" was so amazing. They really setting up future arcs, I wonder when we'll see that case where Araragi helps Gaen and there's still that gap with Nekomonogatari White and then there's still those 6 months with Nadeko. Damn! So much to look forward to! But, I am really going to miss Hachikuji, we are not going to get those hilarious gags anymore T_T. |

| Okay that was unexpected. Hachikuji wasn't one of my favorite characters (she lacked a bit of screentime which made me feel less invested in her than other characters), but that was still sad to see her go. Very unexpected and kinda coming out of nowhere, but still sad. However I thought this arc was about Shinobu, why has she been completely ditched after the Darkness thing separated her from Araragi ? That felt weird for the focus to shift from one character to another just like that. And Yotsugi in the middle, just being there because... Because she can. She's hilarious. I have to say this episode confirmed to me that I'm not very fond of Gaen, too much of an insensitive know-it-all. In opposition the after-credit scene made my interest in Ougi rise even more. The way she talked about the "things" she had to do clearly make it sound like she is the one behind the Darkness. When you think about it and the Nadeko incident, it really looks like she plays a way bigger role in the series than it looked like. And I agree with Araragi, I wonder what will be the consequences of her being the only one besides him (and Yotsugi, Shinobu and Gaen) to know what happened to Hachikuji. Amd finally, I can't believe four months have passed between Hachikuji's "death" and Araragi's talk with Ougi. So much amount of time yet he is only thinking now about how to keep the situation hidden from the others ? And somehow, in four months no one noticed Hachikuji was gone ? That's weird. What's even weirder is that he said everyone is abandoning him. It's clear something happened that we don't know yet about and that's very concerning. Also, I thought Ougi and him were just acquaintances but they seem to be pretty close actually, at least considering Araragi's reaction when she left. |

If they straight up revived her, I think actions would repeat themselves because Hachikuji would be revived as the same apparition, thus making it to where she’s subconsciously lying to herself once again. In the end it would all be futile. (Hopefully that made sense and correct me if I’m wrong lol).Can't he use the shorter katana to revive hachikuji? I thought that was foreshadowing. |

| I wasn't expecting Hachikuji to leave. That was really sad.:( So, the "darkness" is a being that enforces rules for apparitions. It went after Shinobu 400yrs ago because the people whom she had saved mistook her for a god. It went after Hachikuji because she wasn't fulfilling her role as a "Lost Cow". In fact she was supposed to go to the afterlife. So, Araragi's shares his experiences related to apparitions with Ougi. The rest of the characters are probably gonna realise that Hachikuji's gone. |
