Trillion: God of Destruction - Probably a solid 7/10. Game was on the short side, abusable, and had limited gameplay, but possesed an interesting story and cast. Really loved the art style too. Gonna plat it before moving on to something else. |

I played God of War last year and finished my second playthrough of God of War II (in like eight years) just now. Hard mode. The sequel was more annoying and obtuse, with a worse story. 3/5 Still haven't played God of War III. That'll be one of the games I'll play when I eventually get a PS4. |

Rosenkreuzstilette: 9/10 It's weeb Mega Man! This game is so damn good, couldn't stop playing and finished it in 2 days. The graphics look really nice :D Old school graphics with a Castlevania style, it's great. The OST is just beautiful, Zorne and Luste's stage themes are still stuck in my head. The story is nothing special but definitely more than I expected. And the gameplay is... awesome! Shitton of references everywhere are fun :D Now time to beat the bonus stuff, buster only runs, and I'm very eager to start speedrunning this. If you like Mega Man, try this one out, it's great. |

Infinite Undiscovery 8/10 The tri-Ace game people forget because of its lukewarm reception but underneath the obtuse visuals and wonky battle system, the game is actually pretty good. |

Finished Tales from the borderlands a couple of days ago. First time playing a ttg game. I got the plat just by finishing it lol. And it's kinda like Life is Strange with the choices you make impacts the story and stuff. And movement is more limited in the Tales but it was fun. 7/10 for me. Gonna play Walking Dead S1 next which is also a ttg game. Damn ps+ have really been generous this past couple months, I'm excited for free games this coming July. |

But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion. http://www.classzone.com/books/lnetwork_gr08/page_build.cfm?content=analyz_media&ch=30 It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist. |

Attack on titan: Wings of Freedom 7/10 A pretty good score because the game is really fun. It has great controls and satisfying gameplay. It took pretty long to start getting repetitive. It's a nightmare to 100% though since you basically have to play it twice. Also it doesn't support mouse, if you don't have a controller you are forced to use keyboard only so good luck. |

Persona 5 : 10/10 You know, I don't ever recall playing a JRPG ever. That said, I've also never played any of the Persona games before 5 so I was going into this game wondering what makes the franchise so special. After finishing the game which took me 150+ hours, I can say it's totally deserves the praise it gets. Everything Persona 5 had to offer and what it stood for blended perfectly for me. It's the longest campaign for a game I ever played and even then I never experienced a dull moment even when I did the most mundane of tasks. I'm glad I played it. Makes me wanna play the older games now. |

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia 7.5/10 As always, I love the Fire Emblem combat system. There were some annoying aspects such as enemies summoning unlimited reinforcements, the maps got very large, and Celica's level of self-sacrifice... along with some BS with Falchion near the end. I can see why certain features have changed since Gaiden after playing it. |

Tekken 7 - 7.5 - 8.0 / 10.0 Pretty good and about what I excepted gameplay wise but it could definitely use some more offline content. (I'm a offline player, so I don't care about online.) Also wish it had the general full-on stories for each individual character. (Arcade like in the older console releases) The "Character Stories/Episodes" were pretty short and sweet. Didn't really like that. |

Transistor 8/10 Cool world and graphic style, good music and voice acting, nice gameplay. The world building however requires you to use the various abilities/passives/handicap in fight in order to be able to READ the lore about characters and monster, and in order to unlock the whole lore you need to go in NG+ to keep unlocking stuff. So while the lore is interesting, this isn't a really interesting way to present us with it. Dust : and Elysian Tail : 7/10 Quite below average voice acting from time to time, and quite a simple and predictable plot tbh. Very cool and fun gameplay, challenging in hardcore. The Hero is likeable. The difficulty however spikes a bit weirdly. Some of the normal monsters are a real danger in Hardcore, like the slimes and the red bladed undeads, and environmental hazard (especially combination of 2 of them) is super scary since one hit of that easily remove 80% of your healthbar, and recovery items can be quite rare and too pricey to allow yourself to recover 80% of yoru healthbar again and again. Meanwhile, the only hard boss out of the 5 bosses is the third one (lady Tethys), the others are kind of a joke, the first one is too slow to be a danger, and the other ones simply don't hit you hard enough to be a danger. The 4th especially is a real push over. Some normal respawning creatures before him are scarier than him, wtf. The last boss could have been a challenge, if not for the fact that his amount of damage clearly doesn't take in account some of the consumables that give x4 defence for 30sec (and that you can buy to any merchant) as well as the best gear you can find or craft (like the necklace giving x2 defence). Since it's the last boss, there's no reason to be savy on the consumables or with your money, and the game developers clearly didn't account for that when they tuned him. It's nice and all to put lava in his last phase, but with the gear + buff, lava was basically almost hitting me for nothing. For the hardest mode of the game, that's a clear mistake. Still a fun game to play nonetheless. razor39999 said: Ori and the Blind Forest - 10/10, one of those that show you games are an art form after all. ^This guy knows what he's talking about. I mean I love VN's but I don't think they qualify as video games its a seperate medium in my opinion Technically they are by the most common definition/categorization. xD I won't share the details here but you should find several articles about them on Reddit or HardcoreGamer. The term is a little flexible so if you think they're not games then you won't ring any bells from the academy. |

Dark Cloud 2 (PS2) - 9.5/10 Another year, another replay. It's taken a while for DC2 to grow on me the same way the first game did, but now I'd say it's a true addition to my collection of timeless adventures. Looking forward to playing it next year as well. In reference to one of the main themes, I won't ever forget. And I can't get enough of that ost. Been listening to Flower Garden for hours. Probably my favorite moment in the entire game. Very tranquil and soothing yet deeply melancholic. |

Mark of the Ninja 9/10. An almost-perfect stealth game, albeit flawed. A bit short and weak on the story, but a much better conclusion compared to Dishonored. But still leaves a lot of questions unanswered. Is Oro real or not? Why does the Ninja clan suddenly want to use guns? Why did Karajan attack the Ninja Castle? Is Azai truly evil? We never know because the game doesn't go into full detail. |

Why does the Ninja clan suddenly want to use guns? Why did Karajan attack the Ninja Castle? Is Azai truly evil? We never know because the game doesn't go into full detail. 1. She's a delusion caused by the ink, especially obvious if you go for the suicide option at the end. 2. Azai wanted to keep the clan going but modernize them, as he saw their ancient techniques severely lacking. 3. and 4. tie in with 2. Karajan attacked them because they stole the equipment from him and Azai is trying to change the clan without destroying it, and while his method of abusing the last ink user is highly dubious and evil if you want to call it that, his end goal is sort of noble or at least in the interest of the greater good of the clan. He's willing to sacrifice the last ink user so that no ninja has to ever go through that procedure again in the future. Yeah, I must've missed out on those details or maybe that the story didn't explain it to me enough. Not in the sense of "in your face" explanations, but the lack of subtlety was what lead me into questioning. Still, at least it's better than Dishonored in terms of story and not letting the main villain give up his plans because he's not motivated to do so (i.e. Havelock). |

Trails of Cold Steel II - 9/10 Superb game overall. Gripping story, fun battles especially in hard mode, and a tearjerking finale. One of the most engaging journeys I've experienced in awhile. Uncharted 1: Drake's Fortune. [Playstation 3] Who knew searching for gold would result in a bizarre adventure. The main protagonist Nate is what sold it for me, it irks me when MC's don't have a sense of humour which makes them less genuine. The game being a mix of platforming, shooter and survival horror (at times) was right up my alley. The puzzles to be brutally honest were simplistic in nature but can be challenging at times, the game makes dying fun. I lost count how many times I plunged to my death for making a careless leap of faith. The shooting mechanics are quite good but I experienced difficultly during close combat encounters which I seldom used. The plot takes a grim turn after knowing the truth behind the concealed treasure, the narrative really changes at that point. For a game made in 2007, Naughty Dog really put some effort in the graphics department. Some of the camera movements regarding the scenery was fascinating to look at. I was a bit peeved off about the cinematic cut-scenes which are frequently used, they need to cut down on those a lot as they somewhat break my gaming immersion. I also liked the use of time stamps indicating the progression of the game, a nice perk which keeps me on the edge. The soundtrack is awesome and can get immense during boss-like situations in the chambers/tunnels. I can't stand Horror, too much of a wuss for that. A very enjoyable experience. 8/10 |

Deus Ex The Fall. 2 / 10 While I loved the Original Ion Storm series [yes DE Invisible Wars too] HR did good enough job to stay nearly on par. This atrocity? Not only was it a prequel of a prequel [which isnt bad] it was too short, ended half assedly and didnt have a real connection to the universe. I didnt think a game could do that but it felt like being cheated, like when you watch a 1cour advert anime that just turns out to be shit. |

I beat Max Payne 3 on New York Minute Hardcore yesterday, meaning I played through the whole game (in 84 minutes) without dying. It took me like thirty hours. There were a few crashes. Steam says I've played the game for 155 hours now. I wish Rockstar made more games like this, instead of all these sluggish open world comedies. 4/5 |

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. [PS3] Sweet Jesus, this game blew me away from the beginning. I was interested in how Nate ended up in the snowy mountains left for dead. The foreshadowing in this game is tastefully used and the progression of the events seamlessly being woven into place. Not many games can achieve this feat. The train sequence was breathtaking to play, so much going on without a moment to rest. Marco Polo's documentation was worth mentioning but I was more impressed with the character progression which was abundant. Flynn, Chloe and Lazarevic were nice additions compared to Eddy Rajo and co from the last game. The gameplay itself is much improved on its predecessor with the introduction of the stealth system, so much joy came from throwing people overboard. I found the shooting mechanisms to be more effective but there is still a few hiccups here and there. I don't even need to get started on the graphics, how will I cope with the current generation of games. The Turkish museum, the Tibetan village (and surrounding area) and Shambhala were all great spectacles to observe. The soundtrack is dope, I can see myself listening to it later on. The only major flaw I can find was that commando boss in the train carriage. Man doesn't die after hundreds of bullets in his face, that was annoying as hell before clues helped me out. This game is awesome and worth revisiting for a second play-through. A 10/10 game by Naughty Dog. |
