| It was nice to see Caster's past as Princess Medea. Lol her Noble Phantasm is broken as hell. I was also hoping to hear more from Illyasviel talked to Shirou. Especially about Kiritsugu. Finally, Berserker vs Gilgamesh!! Can't wait!!! |

| This is one of those shows where I'm so engaged that I'm surprised when the episode ends and the ED starts playing. Great stuff. Wonder how likely it is that Illya will cooperate with Gilgamesh attacking. Best case would be Shirou, Rin, Illya/Berserker, and Gilgamesh (fuck Shinji) joining forces to take down Caster. Doubt that would ever happen though. We'll see! |
| Gilgamesh is too OP. I found the first half with Caster's background a bit confusing and rushed at times, but I really enjoyed the second half at Illyasviel's mansion. |
| Another great one. Loved seeing Caster's backstory, it was fascinating. Gilgamesh arrives with full force, nice. Rin sent flying was very funny. |

Caster's backstory is a decent addition that was missing in the VN but yeah it ended up ironic like what you said. In yhe VN her previous master's identity was never revealed, at least that makes Caster's actions are plausible. |

| Wow, the first few pages of this discussion are cancerous as hell. There's this perpetually salty VN elitist who actually interpreted the scene with Leysritt threatening Shinji by holding up her halberd to his face as "Shinji stopping her killing thrust bare-handed with newfound Servant level strength". Holy shit, i haven't touched the VN and even i didn't make as gross a misinterpretation of that scene as he did. How embarassing XD Also, him accusing Atrum of being a "racist caricature". Lol, what? Just because he just so happens to be a dick with a slightly darker skin tone than the rest? Because nothing about his character, be it name or design, gives any indication of a Middle-Eastern stereotype. If anything, Disney's Jafar is a racist caricature compared to him. What a fucking loser. |

| I guess I was wrong about Assassin still being alive, he's like nowhere to be seen, so I guess he really did die when Caster exploded his chest. RIP. Speaking of Caster, I don't remember this backstory at all, neither do I remember Rin and Shirou deciding to go and try and team up with Ilyasviel, wtf!!!! Did I just accidentally skip this whole episode when I first watched it? I remember Gilgamesh fighting Berserker, but I don't particularly remember his entrance, and skewering two of Ilya's "maids". Anyway, I wonder what the strategy here is in Gilgamesh going to take down Berserker. Why not wait for Caster to do it herself, and then finish her off as she and her 'team' is likely to be weakened after fighting him? Does Kirei really think that only Gilgamesh is capable of defeating Berserker? Why wait until now...? Berserker gets like 2 episodes and dies, same with Assassin and Rider, who get even less screetime. Besides our main-character servants being Saber, Archer, and Gilgamesh, only Caster is receiving proper treatment. Heck she has gotten way more screentime than even Gilgamesh so far in this route. Oh yeah there's Lancer, but I have no idea what we and Kirei are doing right now. |
