| Well now they are fucked. the went full in to the ernemy and failed and now they are a sitting target. I just can't imagine what asspull they will need to get out of this. Normally their whole ship would be blown away in the next few minutes. I guess the only thing that can save them and not seem too out of there is if Chocolate man has some secret weapon or plan something too and attacks with it and they find some space to retreat. Which he better have because he seems to have really come unprepared for this battle until now. If he assumed that the other seven stars would just give him their troops like he said then he should have prepared something else. Because she is on the opposing side and ruined the plans of the side they care. Simple as that. Truly she is just doing what her position requires her to do but people aren't watching her story and aren't empathizing with her. They are emphasizing with her enemies. The only thing is that the guy she follows is more of a scum than the guy Mika follows but other than that is that people just don't care about her and get annoyed when she stops the ones they care for. |

Shino promised to go out for drinks with Yamagi (which to him, is seen as romantic) and it was confirmed that if he had lived, there would have been a relationship between them. He was basically confirmed bi and was open to the idea of dating another man. He knew Yamagi was in love with him and totally accepted it as we saw the following episode. The official artists have drawn art of them together and the VAs even went out for drinks together and fulfilled the promise their characters made. Yamagi wasn't ridiculous for continuing to be around Shino because they both cared about each other and were close, regardless. In short, Shino KNEW YAMAGI WAS IN LOVE WITH HIM. He was told by Eugene but to confirm what he was told, he told Yamagi he would bring him out to meet girls and after seeing him upset by that proposal, realized Eugene was right and told him they would go out instead, just the two of them. Shino wouldn't be a dick and string him along for nothing. |

| Good romance subplot; I wish it had gotten more attention. It was actually very sad, and I like the pair of them together. A lot of the emotional stuff gets used in this one almost only when a character is about to die. Tekkadan's plan was pretty weird, but I guess it was the only thing they could do. I don't really understand those railguns. Seems like they would be super inaccurate in space with all of these fast-moving mobile suits despite their power. I'd think there would be something stronger, but I guess there are no beams really and questionably effective missiles. I wish that this show was more interesting when it's not a fight, and a little less frantic when it is. |

| Knew it was gonna miss but I hoped with every fiber of my being that it'd somehow hit anyway. Someone like Shino deserved way better final moments than screaming in frustration and regret, RIP |
| when i saw the shot miss, i literally screamed unconsciously. this was so intense that i feel the anxiety in me. seeing shino die in that way after trying so hard is painful, i can't imagine how Yamagi will react now. |
