| Sad to see the review feature go but it's understandable. Let's hope it will still appear in some form in the future. Anyway, I might sign up for this again depending on the mood... I kinda have a lot of stuff I currently wanna watch anyway. But sometimes it's fun to forget about all your plans and just follow someone else's suggestion. |

If you ask for both an anime and a manga rec, you will need to gift twice though. We look at the size of everyone's lists when we do the match-ups to make sure people with tiny manga lists don't need to gift to people requesting manga. @Frey: I looked at our master sheet for last year's event, and it seems we didn't receive a confirmation that you were still in. If you never received a PM from Elf-pyon asking you to confirm your participation, then our elves must've accidentally missed sending you the PM :( I'm really sorry if that's the case and I'll do my best to make sure no one gets missed this year. @Shuuka: It is possible to both participate and help out as an elf. We do the match-ups in such a way that you don't get spoiled about your Santa. @Karlstein_L-11: Didn't know they celebrated St. Nick's in Hungary, too :) Or at least, that's what I'm thinking you mean. @zombie_pegasus: Yep, your post looks good. ((Perhaps you're thinking of the announcement I made in like June... eh heh. Last year we asked users to commit to writing a review at the beginning of the event, and we had additional restrictions on the series—mainly, that they couldn't be "well-known". It ended up being a lot of work for the elves though, because many users who signed up couldn't actually recommend series that met this criteria... so we had to make a bunch of additional gifts ourselves. Then only half the signups actually wrote reviews... With so many more participants this year, it seemed best to scrap it or reinvent it a little later.)) @kitsune0: Forum avi = forum avatar. @SoulEaterQUEEN: You can participate in both events and volunteer as an elf. I do it regularly each year. @Greed, @Hinaaa: I'm asking elves to help with everything this year, not specific tasks.
