That SF/CHC game, possibly the series, is sure to be a classic. Watched all the way up until the top of the 8th and, of course, when I go away to do something else that home run happens! Nonetheless, every game involving SF has been a thrill to watch with the top-tier pitching and defense on display.

Not too surprised by the big bats of the Jays showing up, but rather the starters holding it down. It's nice to see this Indians team front and center now, as I don't know much about them. Man, I can't believe this is the same David Price that made me a fan of the Rays (2008 season). Guy just can't get it done when it really counts! Oh, and shout out to Kershaw and company for the victory. He's still got a losing record in the postseason as well, but a nice step there made in game one to possibly change that. They finally got a bullpen to back him as well, unlike in previous years... haha

man the giants really need to steal this game even though hendricks is starting

not confident at all if you go 0-2 against the best team in the league lol

shark had a real rough stretch where he was prone to giving up homers, and the cubs have a lottt of power in their lineup

Congrats Blue Jays!

I said I wan't rooting for anybody, but the Rangers have a bit of a rivalry with my 'Stros (although they've obviously been getting the better end of it), and I have a soft spot for the city of Toronto after visiting.

Also, I thought Odor was a punk even before "the punch".. Ha indeed.

whelp late to comment but think it is the end of the line for the giants

the cubs are just too good
their entire starting rotation are cy young candidates and samardzija is just super inconsistent and is no doubt the weakest starting anchor

cueto did everything that he could but our offense is anemic once again, which isn't anything new since the second half of the season

Oh my god. God damn you, Cody Allen. You were trying your f'n hardest to kill me tonight, but the Cleveland karma (LeMojo) prevailed over your choking nature. Please Tito, make Miller the closer and relegate this clown the "middle reliever" so I don't die of cardiac arrest in the next series. Learn to keep a fastball down you POS.

Sayonara Boston and hello Toronto. Home Field advantage throughout the playoffs for Cleveland including the WS. I like the sound of that...

I hope that, at the very least, it goes back to Chicago. Same goes for the other NL series back to Washington, regardless of who takes the series. I mean, Dodgers vs. Giants in the postseason would be nice to witness at some point in our lifetimes, so the sooner the better!

bwahaha!

Well, I think the AL teams left are both pretty interesting as well, seeing that both were last in the WS two decades ago. Heck, Cubs vs. Indians would also be hilarious to watch in a battle of WS title droughts!

whelp this game was a microcosm of what the 2nd half of the regular season was for the giants: an extremely porous bullpen with the highest total blown saves.

We threw the game and threw it hard. Simple as that. The era of the big 3 is finally over aka Lopez/ Romo/ Casilla maybe big 4 if you counted Affeldt but he retired. I doubt any of them are coming back with their declining ability and higher age. It was a good run for them.

Told myself I wouldn't talk about Lebron...but I can't help it.

So...Lebron was pretty happy about the Indians making it to the WS and even using a "we" when referring to them...almost as if he's an Indians fan...

EXCEPT HE'S NOT!

He's a Yankees fan...in fact back in 2007 when Cleveland was facing the Yankees in the ALDS...he was at the game...here's a picture.

Oh but that was soooo 2007.....

You know...For a city that was constantly crying "woe is me" and even going so far as believing they were "cursed" or whatever...they sure forget things when it's very conveniently to do so.
