Why anyone would pick a team that last won the world series 108 years ago is beyond me.

We lost 3-2 last night but I was pretty impressed with the gameday experience

I was part of the largest crowd in Mariners history

Dae-Ho Lee hit a home run in his first major league hit

And I got to see this above all

I'm glad we got rid of Carter. Dude is 4 for 4 today, strikeouts that is.. He actually would have led the majors in K% last season (32.8), if he'd qualified.

MFW the Cubs win 100+ games, have all the requirements, get home field advantage throughout the playoffs and STILL can't win.

I wasn't born yesterday folks....if anyone thinks the Cubs are gonna win, I got some bad news for you....reality.

I wish I could say more about the Cinci Reds, but I haven't been following the games heavily. However, I can mention a few points:
-Billy Hamilton can become an effective weapon for us (the team) if he can improve on getting base hits.

-This year's fire sale has made the team virtually unfamiliar to me. Sure, there are some veteran players, but the bullpen has become foreign to me. I also feel that Frazier trade is a mistake.

-Even though the whole city worships him, Joey Votto remains a mediocre ball player in my opinion.

Unfucking real...

Just when the Fish were getting into a nice groove....Dee Gordon is suspended for 80 fucking games for PED use!

Can it get any worse right now in Miami??

The Heat choked away a 2-0 lead, the Fins showed why they'll never win anything in the off season, and now this.

I honestly can't believe it....

Yeah, very disappointed to hear about Gordon's actions. Hopefully he'll bounce back, as I like him for his speed and highlight plays.

Ohhh baby, a series win vs. the Royals. I want to sweep them but I don't want to get ahead of myself. Oh man, that would be sweet if the Mariners did pull it off with Based Tai on the mound!

Well....despite the nonsense with Dee Gordon...the FISH have somehow won 7 in a row!

BTW...I'm going to the Marlins game on Tuesday and they'll be giving away an Ichiro t-shirt...

I heard that Ichiro's name is gonna be in Katakana....the inner weeb in me thinks that's pretty cool.

Damn. Tampa Bay with all those "dollar ballers". I mean, look at all those batting averages! Buck and change for like four players if I saw the numbers correctly. Plus, getting to exchange trash talk with my younger brother (a Dodgers fan) is something that doesn't come along often.

Well, hopefully by the next time I comment here the Rays will be over .500...

Man, I'm really loving my Mariners this year, probably the best team of their's I've seen in quite a long time. I don't know how we still won even when Felix didn't have his best start. Dae-Ho Lee must be that based. Sweep's a sweep though, needed to get revenge on the A's somehow or another.

4 games with the Stros, just gotta keep hitting and we should be fine. 1.5 Games ahead in 1st is comfy enough, especially when you're one of 2 team in the AL West with a + RD

Miley vs. Smyly was all Miles, no Smyls. Gotta love Dae-Ho Lee's sunglasses swag magic as well.

Walker vs. Archer should be loads of fun to watch. I have a ticket to that game but I'm not sure if I'm going, I may be busy all morning. Regardless, the crowd should be pretty small seeing it's a weekday.

Glad Souza hit a homer, I miss Miller, LoMo, and Farquhar too, fun players.

I feel horrible for LoMo, I wasn't aware he was this incompetent of a hitter. Karns has been a huge part of our current success. Looks like we finally won a trade.

I knew Brad Miller would be a bright spot though, this guy has always had potential, reminds me of a poor man's Ben Zobrist, he'll get better in due time.

Walker hasn't won in 2 starts, needs a win badly, quite frankly, Archer needs to turn his year around too, right?

Really need to get caught up with things. Had no idea our teams even made a trade.

And yeah, Archer's not off to a good start. From the few games I saw weeks ago, he was missing location and stuff real bad. But damn, I'm totally not accustomed to seeing the Rays hit HR like this, though I'm totally accustomed to mediocre offenses overall! Looking at things positively, there's still a lot of baseball left.

I had a little hope after Bae hit that 3-run jack. I was in bed when the 9 run inning started and I was listening to Goldsmith and Rizzs on the radio and I decided to stay there because I didn't want to jinx it lol. WHAT A COMEBACK THOUGH.

BUT, Marte and Martin being on DL is really hurting us more than I expected. Aoki is getting abused out there. RIP

Brewers arent AS BAD as I thought they were going to be this year.... pleasantly surprised at some players' progress. It's too bad that Willy Peralta is on a heavy decline though, very disappointed.... might need a trip to AAA at this point.

Looking forward to whenever they bring up Arcia and move Villar to 2nd and when Phillips is called up for CF.

That's because they're at full health.

Injuries always seem to doom any high expectations. The Mariners are the exact same way.

Beat up the Angels for me this weekend.

Didn't think my Astros would have a winning record heading into the All-Star break after a disastrous April, but there they are, 41-24 since.

Shame about the Springer snub, though. Dude's been having a hell of a year.

Congrats to Stanton absolutely crushing the competition in the HR derby...

Now....PLEASE fix your swing and help the Marlins make the playoffs!

Yes, the Marlins are still alive, in fact in pretty good shape right now.

We'll be getting Dee Gordon in a little bit and if Stanton can stop striking out and some of other pitchers (not named Fernandez) can step up their game.....WATCH OUT!

I'm hoping the Fish can make some noise, because this summer has so far been absolutely depressing to be a Miami Sports fan.
