I admit I am no expert on movies - domestic or foreign, or the movie industry. Even if early streaming is unlikely it is still a fair question. Any given movie could choose to go against the grain with an established trend of release. In addition, much like the recent DBZ movies this film is likely to get a select-theaters release in the USA. Making it available relatively expediently on a paid streaming services or PPV style streaming could increase the movie's earning power in the USA and other countries. These streaming releases could be region specific, thus not impacting Japanese ticket sales very much. Think I am crazy? Comcast has had a serious interest in this style of release for some time now. See this article:

It was just 3 sentences with 3 exclamation marks, if I was being aggresive I would be using caps.
Your article is from 2011 and just a test run. That test for now got nowhere.
So you think that it would be One Piece Film Gold to go against the grain? Why would that be? Is not like this is the first One Piece Movie, and is not like the previous ones were unsucessful. It makes no sense to risk all the success and the guaranteed success, just to test the waters of early streaming releases, a thing that doesn't bring that much money compared with theater.
One Piece Film Gold is already confirmed to go to the USA, in theaters. Later it will get streaming, but a lot later.
Read my post more clearly. I said it was possible, not probable. In fact I said it may be unlikely. I was making the point that it was a fair question because it is in the realm of possibility. Also I am aware of the article's date. I was merely using it as an example of INTEREST in the business model I described in my previous post. My last post was to prove that my first question was not unreasonable, because it could happen. Therefore it should not be reacted to with!!!!!!!!!!!! lol. I would rather not go back and forth endlessly, I have better things to do. : ) Not to mention further dialogue would not be particularly beneficial to this thread.
