Pretty funny episode after last week's trainwreck, and the brief fight between Haku and Oshutorou was very interesting as well. Seems weird to see Haku hold his own so well when there has never been any indication of him having such fighting skills or receiving the training for them.

Also, I saw someone say the plot will finally kick in next week. Please, please, please say this is true.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. He held his own pretty well.

I really hope the plot actually starts next week. While some of the moments thus far have been humorous, I liked the first series due to the MC and the plot. Haku thus far is a less interesting MC and there has been very little plot development. The first two episodes were golden. Since then, not so much.

Incident light and not so silly, because in the end there is an underlying meaning, drawings and animations of a good standard, very beautiful colors, not bad gimmick used to foist to Haku, the new characters.

The only reason i'm still watching this anime is because of the first series. If this was a new anime i would have dropped it already.

I hope when the story really kicks in it won't disappoint me even more.
I despise woke people.

Though I dislike Anju, this is a better arc.
Lots of funny moments. Rip Haku in shithole. Robinhoods raining gold, then raining troll arrows. Udon the new popcorn. Silly drama act turns serious.

They killed 3 birds with one stone:
1 Oshutoru (& Haku's sneeze talk) shames & forces Hime to realize her responsibilities to her country. Hopefully she grows up, after more spanking.
2 Red robinhoods are placed under Haku's care, bolstering his court position.
3 Oshutoru takes this opportunity to test Haku's ability, perhaps checking he's not a simple weakling, but hides tremendous experience fighting, with a fan... This might reveal more Haku's past.
Combat before the sunrise was quite beautiful.

That hail of arrows on Oshutoru's desk was hilarious ^^
Haku actually held his own against Oshutoru wow :O
Nosuri was pretty funny too, glad to see them join Haku :D
Munechika showing up at the end...RiP Anju's ass.

I really love the characters, and they're doing a good job with characterizing them, but I hope they progress with the story soon, this is starting to get a bit boring to be honest.
My Top 5 Anime: (As of March 2020)
1. Fate/Zero
2. Gintama
3. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
4. Shinsekai Yori

i'm tired to see haku in a bad situation all the time because of other's mistakes.
Anju so far is the most annoying character. I hope in the next arc she doesn't appear much.
I still enjoy this show because of haku, oshutoru and munechika. The only characters that don't spoil princess and have interesting personalities.

There's nothing like watching Itsuwari no Kamen on a cold night.

Oh look, a literal fujoshi joke.

The best thing was seeing such an adaptive food vendor! Go to where the market is; he is going to make it big someday, whoever he is.

I'm not sure if he had any part in that decision. Even if he can stand up against the girls, Kuon's bird is something else.

Regarding Anju..well, if *that* lesson doesn't stack, nothing will. One way or the other, they will know soon enough.

I'm also not sure if Hahu is *that* experienced in fighting as some think here. Sure, he hold his own for a while, so he's not totally clueless, but the moment Ukon was serious the fight was over.

Poor Anju in the end. Ukon is one thing, but Munechika..though technically, shouldn't she also apologize and over her life for failing to protect Anju? Going off for some training fight is no excuse for letting the princess get kidnapped. Maybe that comes after the spanking. Anju will be too intimidated to take her up at that offer..

I really wish they'd stop using spanking Anju as a joke. Hitting children isn't funny.

That ramen guy knows his business.

Other than that it was cringe worthy. Why should i spend 24 minutes watching the bullshit whims of that child empress? We already knew about her silly behavior anyway.

One of my favorite episodes in the anime so far.

It was really funny and had lots of great moments. The part where they take the ramen stand with them to the scene and battle scene. Along with that, it shows that Anju realized the repercussions of her actions and learnt from it too.

surprisingly good episode (finally). Haku did a great job, nice to see he isn't a total wimp.
