| Must...not...rant... I didn't read LN, I'm planning to read it later, but from what I read so far in forum... SAO(anime) is cut off version of LN. They spend 2,5 years in game...they showed it in 12 episodes... I'm not fan of super long anime series like 100 episodes or more. 20-30 are enough for me, but part where there are trapped in game should be at least 20-30 episodes long... not 12. 100 floors, they completed 75, even it they wanted to cut some some boss fights etc. ... I still feel like they could show us more, but they were lazy. I know that's not easy to do one episode, because it needs some time... voice acting, animating etc. but it should be definitely more episodes. Season 2, or ALO... should be separated from S1. ALO was great, I enjoyed it, but I didn't like that fairy stuff. I really like this anime, but when I watch it... it's damn too short! That's what I hate in SAO, it is so short... you want to watch more, like horny kid watching porn... you just want more... also music is really good... Kajiura did good OST again, and that's main reason why I like SAO. What I really hate in SAO? Sachi dies... Why I hate SAO? Sachi is dead. Why I dislike SAO...well ya know, cos she's dead. I know that she had to die, but I wont accept her fate. Anyway, SAO should be much longer, they should explain some more things, like why people from SAO who are playing ALO have same appearance as in SAO, and some other minor details etc. I'm afraid that they will do same mistake again as in S1, both SAO and ALO in one season... I hope that fight Kirito vs Shinon will be great. What if Death Gun is female? He/She got mask...LoL I apologize for my poor english, I'm not a native english speaker, I haven't slept for over 2 days and I'm getting drunk now. |

Well Agree with you, SAO has to be longer and more detailed... That´s why Reki Kawahara is writing SAO progressive, you know, he started SAO as no more than an amateur writer and well... You know he used the flashback style and then people on A1 tried to make it cronological... I guess in SAO progressive we´ll get the lot of info and plot holes tapped we need. And in Sachi living..... It won´t happen xD Kirito needs a reason to ostracize himself, and in her death you got a good one! On Phantom Bullet for more than 13 or 14 eps... They would have to use filling stuff and that´d lower the quality unless they did it right. They will surely adapt Caliber and maybe even Mother´s Rosario PD Death gun is Darth Vader, we already got that conclussion :p And I am drunker than you |

Why do you feel the need to put ellipses all over your sentences? >.> Yeah, well, if they plan on adapting everything, SAO will almost surely run for 100+ episodes or so. But you are right, but keep in mind the first volume of SAO was written for a short story award (and turned out to be too long) which is why it was pretty rushed, and the second volume was just a compilation of side stories. I thought Sachi dying was actually one of it's better points. Not because I have anything against her, because they actually decided to kill off a character rather than some background mob. And yes, SAO progressive is, as mentioned above, a rewrite that is focusing on the story more and detailing what happens in SAO. Though I am a little dubious about his intention to write a volume for each floor...sounds a little too ambition. And to be honest, I'm not too certain if Phantom Bullet has enough to fill up one season by itself. They'll surely need at least Caliber and probably Mother's Rosario. That'd be quite a twist, wouldn't it? As for Sinon and Kirito's fight.... |

The difference here is that SAO's arc tells the story of the players trapped for 2 years in just 14 eps. On the other hand, GGO's arc tells the story that happened only in about 3 days. If you count only the main event, the BoB, then it's only 2 days. If they managed to adapt those 3 days story to 24 eps, then I simply couldn't imagine what each episode would tell. 15 episode for GGO, if done properly will be good enough for me... |
| Hmmm... So SAO Progessive is a rewrite of SAO....Nice!! Though if its going to go into as much detail as I hear it is (The author is apparently going to write about each floor individually!!) I can see this taking forever to write. Though thats defiantly something to look forward too!! (Sorry for going a bit off topic and taking about the novels) |

I wonder if they picked someone important from last season (too lazy to go rewatch to look right now). I would suspect Asuna's stalker... but that would be too easy. | I seriously considered dropping this just because of that changing scene. Why. WHY. Is it too much to ask for a female character who isn't a completely unreasonable and irrational cunt? Christ.. At least Kirito sort of teased her a bit after she distanced herself from him and acted all bitchy for no reason. Death Gun's animated really well. The eyes give him a very creepy demeanor, which really pulls the intimidating atmosphere together. |
