Conversely if this were a show by Sunrise the bitching would likely be 5 times louder and more pronounced if anybody was even still watching at all by this point. Judging by the comments so far period though I realistically don't think people care about this show at all anymore nor have they since it became apparent that Urobuchi wasn't coming back to the project and had little to do with it's current status in the first place. That was pretty much the main hook along with the soundtrack. |

| Hey guys just wondering, did the princess actually get shot in the head? The helmet around her neck activated. Does that mean that the count missed and hit the helmet instead of her head? I also don't understand how Aldnoah power are transferred, I don't remember how the orbital knights get the power and is under the assumption that the power is only passed down by the royal family and that the knights can't pass down the power. |

| The S1 twist had potential and this episode undid everything in the most non-spectacular way. Back to Inaho, the most uncharismatic MC ever. It's gotten boring to watch him; he always wins every fight in a shit mech without a challenge. |

| Thank god I finished S1 a couple days before S2 came out! That cliffhanger has been cleared up. Everyone's alive....... no surprise. But I"m mad that Saazbaum is alive though. And the fact that Slaine is siding with Vers. Inaho has some superhuman bionic eye. And Aldnoah powers because he powered up the Deucalion. Does that mean Aldnoah powers are transferred through a kiss, since both Slaine and Inaho had kissed the Princess? If that's true, then that takes away the amazement a bit.... So I'm the other princess (Lemrina) guessing is the relative or sister. Judging by the comment about her inheritance, she may be a younger sister in the shadows of Seylum or a step-sister (or a clone...). But it's too soon to judged. 3.5/5 |

When this show first started and really for most of it's run it was very heavily praised, especially for the soundtrack. The ending to the first season and how it resolved it with a hand wave has people kind of whipped up in a frenzy. Like I don't know how you can look at these turns of events and call it exceptional writing. Yeah some people are over the top with the hate, they were also over the top with the praise early on too. I think the lesson is that MAL and by and large anime fandom in general is completely over the top swinging wildly from one extreme to the other with absolutely no idea what the fuck they really want out of anything. As long as it's cool looking and sounding in the coming episodes I'm sure people will be just fine with it though regardless of what happens. |

| It's back and Slaine already managed to piss me off. God, I hope he gets urobutchered this season. Inaho survived just as we thought he would and now he's one step closer to becoming an intergalactic Jesus with his newfound powers of Aldnoah. |
