| Im 20 I dont watch anime to escape reality or something like that. Real life is fun to I watch it because I seriously enjoy it and all the different characters and stories I encounter through anime. |

| I'm in the 18-21 (I'm 18). I watch them because it entertains me and I absolutely hate most shows on TV, wish we could have an anime channel. I usually prefer psychological/mystery/action/romance genres. I also like some shounens and slice of life. I guess I also watch them to escape reality a little bit. |

| 24, here. There are a lot of reasons I watch (still watch) anime. I love the art and seeing the style evolve over the years entertains me. I'm also a big fan of japanese culture and sensibility, so I like watching shows, movies and anime that represent it. I love the humor. Panty shots never get old. Giant robots will always be cool. But mainly, there's just a charm about anime in particular, that any other form of entertainment can not provide. It just makes you feel...comfortable, content and safe. I never really understood why. All of these reasons are completely different from when I first started watching anime, though. I only started because, at the time, there weren't any american shows with linear storylines...anime just knew how to hook you waiting for that next episode. |

| I'm 28 and I still watch. It's amusing and I prefer the writing style of anime over alot of the TV shows force fed to us on TV. It's obviously escapism too as it is with anything you watch. |
