| A good episode, I'm glad they are moving the love plot along at a good pace. I didn't think I would like Yuuta x Rikka early on, but they have done a good job building it into something. The episode could have used more Dekomori imo :) |

| Amazing animation as always, but I'm not enjoying this at all. This was kinda lame and cliché, the comedic, slice-of-life parts were better imo. I just can't take this serious for some reason and I think this is meant to be cute instead of serious so it's probably not my fault. |

| That was amazing, truly great. Enough said, really. The only thing I really hated was the "to be continued" at the end. I don't really like when an episode finishes like that, but this time it was even worse. It's like pausing when it gets to a really good part. 5/5. I really want to see the next episode already. |

| Well , finally had the time to post . Anyways , first things first , Touka is just so dayuuum sexy .Best waifu this season , next is Kumin . I was actually surprised that Shinka♥ quit the cheerleading club .I thought she wants to redeem her life and start appearing normal to others , but wouldnt quitting make you look bad even more ? And Deko's expressions are just priceless .Theyre just too cute . And Yuuta screaming in his room when she saw Touka was just priceless . LOL . That's just so realistic , well done there KyoAni . And Touka handled that porn mag scene as mature as possible .Seems like she has seen enough of those for her not to react flustered .Well done my waifu ~ And seeing Rikka getting doki doki ?! HNNNNNNNNNNNNG . And finally , the Shinka haters finally subsided in these forums , I mean she was really likeable before , and now shes even much better , after helping Rikka with her issues .And seems like NO ONE actually noticed how neat Shinka's room is . Nicely detailed .I wonder how Deko's and Kumin's rooms looks like . AND THOSE SHINKA MOMENTS And I really wonder how the heck did the two of them were able to go to the rooftop . I mean , it's under construction and all , but there wasnt even a warning sign and the door wasnt even closed ... at all . But still , that almost Rikka confession after Yuuta saying that he finally understood her, was interrupted with her slipping , and into the edge .I actually paused at that part because I never thought of this anime having scenes like that , the main heroine falling ill or some disaster happening at the last episodes .Good thing it wasnt that when I clicked play again . And at the end , that hug really was splendid .IT was really marvelous and A++ quality of animation . And this episode ending with Yuuta calling "Rikka" and the ending of the last week episode with "Yuuta" finally tied the knots between them . Animation is as usual , marvelous , and those BGM really hit the timings quite nicely . Looking forward to the next episodes . And more LOLWTF moments , just as somebody else posted . |

| My heart can not take this cuteness. Rikka was absolutely adorable in this episode and I had a stupid looking smirk on my face throughout the whole episode :3 Nibutani's plan by using SHoujo manga was hilarious xD And the failures had me bursting wiith laughter. It was nice to see Nibutani as a non cold hearted bitch in this episode. She's warming up to the group and me likes :) The last scene was perfect and I am happy. 5/5 Now Isshiki and Kumin too :3 Sent with Mal Updater |

| Rikka x Yuta so amazingly well done and how completely refreshing that it's allowed to happen with no manufactured drama and no forced love triangles. Unrealistic many would say, entertaining I respond. Regardless, this show is all about a lack of realism and that that's OK too. Stellar show, top drawer romance, a million times rewatchable. I can't see myself giving this anything but 10 if momentum continues to the inevitable (to them and to us) Rikka x Yuta (or should that be Evil Eye x Dark Flame Master) conclusion. |

Cause anything Kyoani does gets a lot of mileage simply for the fact that they are doing it and people love to name drop and think up all these special reductive conditions and standards under which Kyoani is apparently doing something especially unique and "right" with each show that if I'm being honest is usually pretty similar in execution to whatever the last one they did was. It really doesn't matter how interesting the shows are or if they are really doing anything all that special with the material they are given compared to others, this is just the way a lot of people seem to see it. If I'm being honest I'd say it's more an inclination certain interest groups have towards enjoying and praising whatever Kyoani puts out that some have as opposed to them doing anything special that feeds their shows hype and popularity at this point. What's weird is when the material is weak or fairly standard like I think it is here and when people have to start finding IMO rather trivial and insignificant things to claim make Kyoani shows objectively special compared to what the rest of the market is putting out. There's such a huge disconnect between Kyoani shows as they exist for most people and Kyoani shows as they exist for people that are pre-disposed towards liking them that I'm starting to wonder if there's any real factor which they can all rally around or agree upon as being definitive about the studio and their works. Anyway I saw the episode...it was....alright. Oretty basic romantic tension piece you tend to see at the climax of these kinds of shows, though admittedly I'm not all that into romance. Still the show seems to do much better by me whenever Touka is in it, but then I think she is by far the least typically Kyoani of any of the cast members and probably why she stands out so much more than others as interesting to me since Kyoani shows are pretty damn homogenized and thus fairly dull to me at this point even if I give the occasional episode a whirl. She has a bit of an edge to her character that is different from say Nibutani who's overall portrayal I just don't really buy or find all that interesting. Truth be told this show has gotten more mileage out of me than pretty much any Kyoani show in recent memory and I think it owes to it being more occasionally genuinely amusing and the comedy feeling more free flowing and not as forced. There's less of a tendency for the show to scream it's gag bits at the screen and the characters to be practically winking at and mugging the camera for laughs which is something that has held back much of Kyoani's attempts at comedies for me and frankly made me wish they'd stop doing them if I'm going to bother with their shows. Hopefully this is a sign of continued improvement in this area because unlike many who seem to think Kyoani has everything down and always gets it right I think they still have a ton of things to improve upon yet. Just...no. I hope I'm the only one that thinks this is perfectly healthy and should actually be encouraged a little more. Personally I'd have expected a lot more progress out of Kyoani at this point as an upstart studio that gets a lot of attention, but I guess a little is better than none. I really wish thought that people would stop sitting around and pretending that this studio is the be all end all of animation production though cause that's what's it's looked like to me for the past 5-6 years. You almost hear more discussion about the studio and what they are doing than the shows they are doing in related threads at times which I think is pretty telling, dare I say a little dangerously close to presumptive even. Then again I've always been about holding shows, creators and studios to a higher standard than what I'm seeing from Kyoani if I am going to call them masterpieces or especially well-crafted. |
