| Natsume Yuujinchou - does it pick up? arguably. after watching the first few episodes a couple of years ago i decided to throw this series into my hold list because i just wasn't into it. it wasn't entertaining, and quite frankly, a little bland. after sitting on it for a year or so more, i decided to pick it up again and rewatch those beginning episodes. with the nature of natsume, it picks up, but it never becomes anything terribly exciting. however, the characters and storyline are incredibly engaging, and more episodes in, it becomes a truly amazing watch. Neon Genesis Evangelion - the beginning was kind of meh for me as well, and i left it on hold, like natsume, for a few years. in the end, i wasn't terribly invested in nge. some of the action and plot later on did captivate me, but my overall impression of the series wasn't too high. but i still think that it was a worthy watch. maybe nge won't do it for you (it didn't really for me), but after watching it, you can watch the rebuilds which are pretty amazing. |

| Seto no Hanayome It's really funny however you look at it. A decent comedy overall. Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt It has an awesome OST, and ending. It gets better after the first four episodes. You won't be in awe, but there's profanity that beckons to the people who might like it. |

| I finished a few of the anime in your dropped list and enjoyed them to varying extents, but I can't really passionately disagree with any of your reasons for dropping them. Guess I'll go with Hyouka by virtue of it being better than Btooom! Sexy animation and good characters was enough for me despite it being boring at times. |
