| I liked it. Every character so far appealed to me except Nodoka, don't know why. It'll be fun to watch Saki learn to like mahjong and supposedly, the club reaching national level. |

| It's good that Chinese mahjong and Japanese mahjong are pretty similar (the hands are basically the same) so I pretty much got this. Awesome episode hehe. |

| considering i don't play mahjong, i seriously don't know what the heck they were talking about...its as bad as hikaru no go...at least in hng they had a dead ghost to make the story interesting....all you have in this one is moe cliche |
| If I knew the rules it was going to be interesting.I felt like I was watching Yu-Gi-Oh! without knowing what's happening.Every character in this anime reacted so much after every move but they were just playing a table game,lol. |

| Learning the rules of mahjong isn't that difficult. Simply playing 10 games or so (even against the computer) will help. |

| Trully to say, didn't expect from this anime anything. I didn't even wanted to pick this. But thanks God I picked this. First episode was pretty good. Main characters likable and cute, animation/artwork very good with fluid animation, soundtracks was great too. To put overall, loved first episode. |

| Too much moe, too much mahjong and too much drama over a single episode for me. The characters seem both fun and very cliché, but the episode itself is not that funny actually, and on top of that, the music was quite horrible overall. Everything's not bad I guess, and some people may like it I guess too, but this anime is simply not for me. |

| I loved it. I watch it mainly for the mahjong, but a little moe is a nice bonus. Horrible Gonzo-3D, but that was expected. timestranger said: Now my only question left is what so good about not winning or losing in majong? Certainty its hard to do it but what can you do with it? | While I enjoyed this episode so far, I am confusing about mahjong. However, interesting series makes me watch more, and that would be Saki. I loved that scene where the lightning at the end. |

| This was a pretty good episode. I don't watch much game anime because the very thought of it bores me most of the time. But I think this could be a pretty decent series. There are plently of other things going on besides Mahjong. And even the games were intense enough to be on a level of enjoyment. Definitely gonna stick with this one. |
| I'm not one into sport animes...or "bored game" (?) animes. I didn't have much expectations for this...but thought I'd give it a go, and I was surprised. The quality of animation is decent, that characters likeable and the voices are good. And they made the game actually seem kind of kool and fun. Overall it was a good episode, and now I'm interested to see the next one. Pretty good =]. |
