| Damn, re-watching this anime season 1 years later and the writing is just so bad. The relationship between MC and Louise still doesn't make any sense. He was kidnapped and made a slave, insulted, and beaten. If MC wasn't a cuck and had some pride, he would've rebelled, not started falling in lover, what a pathetic twat. Then there's the whole pedo angle going on, which is typical anime shit. The voice acting is so fucking bad in the dub, at-least when I watch it with subs, I can't tell if the voice actor is bad or not since all Japanese actors sound pretty much the same to me as a non-speaker. But with English? The guy who voiced the Francis villain guy is so godawful, trying to put on a fake gruff voice, it gave me a chuckle every time he would speak those awfully written lines. Going to lower my 7/10 initial rating for this show to 5/10. |
