I hope Noucome and Strike the Blood get picked up. However Sentai has already announced a lot and these two shows feel like Sentai titles. I still hope they both get picked up though. |

What? o.o I'm guessing they mean the subtitles on the DVD/BD release being in a yellow font. Yellow and white are the two most common colors for that. |

Amazon has Magi The Labyrinth of Magic (that's season 1) coming out in the UK on Blu-Ray and DVD with part 1 out on February 24th. As far as I'm aware, it's yet to actually be announced as being licensed for home video release by anyone, however. Amazon lists it as MangaUK, but it lists all Kaze releases as being from them as well. Expectations are that it will be the latter - as MangaUK would probably have told us about it by now, and Kaze are releasing it in France as well. edit: Confirmed as Kaze: https://twitter.com/MangaUK/status/406056742808612865 So, Kaze's first license non-announcement of the year. |

Redfoxoffire said: An explanation: Some of you may have noticed licenses haven't been posted for a long time. The news staff had decided that the excessive posting of low-profile licenses was useless and only serving to clog up news space with topics few people read or posted in. We proposed various ideas on how to handle getting the information out effectively, and after some discussion (and maybe some laziness) we came to this conclusion. For those familiar with the quarterly simulcast list, this topic will be very similar to that one. I'll add in new licenses to the first post as they come and, if necessary, make a new post about it. Feel free to ask questions or give suggestions and this is a new idea starting now for the first time and not expected to be perfect. Sounds like a good idea. |
