| I remember reading the first chapter or so of Fushigi Yuugi a little bit over ten years ago, but for the life of me I don't know how I got ahold of it. It wasn't a tankobon volume from what I remember, but it was in English. Then again it was a while ago and my brain may have skewed the memory a bit. The first manga series I ever followed was Fruits Basket about six or so years ago, my friend was collecting all the volumes and kindly leant them to me. First manga I ever owned was the Death Note box set, which I bought earlier this year. I sure hope my kids end up liking manga, because I plan to keep my collection for life. |
