I think the only things that connects with the previous series are the logos... and that's it. There are some nods to characters like Ken or Joe but is a big shock at first sight. | Hey, did anybody notice the crest or logo in their base and in their chest? Even the "G" is the same. I guess it more like a remake of the 1972 "Space Ninja Team Gatchaman." Which btw is an american adaptation cartoon called "G- Force." |

| I love how this show is so far. Its characters, colour palette, world, everything in general completely pulls me in. Hajime is adorkable, I LOVE her seiyuu here. I can't get enough of her. So far, I find you either love or hate Hajime lol. Totally got a Power Rangers vibe from this show, but with more kick-ass suits and geometric cube aliens?? I don't even know but I'm loving it. Great start. |

| First of all, seeing the title reminds me of my childhood watching Tatsunoko series. Hey, its almost 41 years ago since the first Gatchaman was released! Anyway, I think this new Gatchaman is a good product of reinvention, this is not Gatchaman I used to know, yet this is also a Gatchaman I wanted to see. I love the CG battle scene, the background music, the design (although that masks reminds me so much of post 2000 Kamen Rider series), however I am slightly bit off with the background and color schemes that a little bit bland, I bet it would looked better with more kafkaesque-dark settings. I love the voice actors fits perfectly, especially for Joe and Tachibana. |

| The first part felt like an hour, didn't help that some scenes had no OST at all. Also the voice acting was sleep inducing. Then there was the transformation sequence. I'm sold. Mc still feels like listenting to a Kesha song performed by a bunch of Chihuahua tho. |

| Characters are diverse for the most part, and the OST is the best one this season. The animation is underwhelming, though. Especially with the staff this show has. 7/10 |
