| The best episode of this anime! So much feels were going on that they have to cut both OP and ED to jam those in. Hibiki finally did something more noble and less meaningless shouting this time. Talk has to be backed up with action and power. The reason Yamato can walk around with his smug face while preach how people must sacrifice for his greatness (Yamato's whole necessity of "weak dies, strong survive" is to justify his own ambition) is the fact that he has power. Now, Hibiki has gained power similar to Yamato, making the idea of following our main hero more attractive. That said I see little difference in what Hibiki would do as leader and what Yamato is doing currently. Io is still needed to be offered to summon Lugh. Maybe Hibiki would have tried to finish-off the demon sooner and prepare a retrieval party afterward. But other than that, sacrifices are inevitable no matter how much Hibiki tried. I suspect the real difference is when they meet god. Yamato will wish for the world of his dominance while Hibiki will want everything restored to what it was. It would be interesting to see if Dargonball-ish restoration is possible here Io is the best character of this show. I don't like the fact that the writes keep using the lines akin to "I'm weak" or "she has weak spirited" over and over. It's as though they are trying to diminish her character to increase Hibiki's significance. Io has done plenty to justify her "usefulness" while offered her life to save everyone's. In addition, she remains the most real "human" among the cast of static characters because she shows fear and self-doubt in the mist of impending apocalypse. Who wouldn't reminisce their family when they are struggling to survive? Because the writers have been bias in treating a good character like Io to fit Shounen stereotype, I will not give Devil Survivor 2 high scores unless that changes in the remaining episodes. |

| Hmm, I'm still leaning towards Alcor's ending for this series... They seem to be getting along quite well. And Hibiki seems to be burning the bridge with Yamato. Edit: Oh and it isn't Deus Ex Machina that Io was saved, if they ever bother to explain the whole thing... which might be crammed into the next episode. Probably already mentioned, but... they've cut a bunch of stuff, especially in episode 9, which I was looking forward to Airi competing with Hinako to be sexy. Not to mention... also all of Airi's story cut out too... and all the other characters who have died too. They should have made room for Airi :c But hey, this is what the director decided to cut into the allotted 13 episodes. Just have to go with it. |

Yamato's words about killing them is kinda disturbing though. But idk, I can just never hate the guy. P.S. Lugh is awesome. I wish I could've seen more of its personality. P.S.S. Agreed with everybody else. If this anime had just been longer, maybe more character developments instead of rushing. Keita, Fumi, Daichi... idk, I feel like they've been too much left out. Even if they're dead or not. Glad to see Daichi trying something instead of being useless though. I wonder when he would be really awesome. I'm still waiting... |

| Aw, kind of was hoping she'd die, especially after them saying it would kill her. The "no guarantee she'll live" means more "no guarantee she'll die". . . The fight wasn't that cool, it was just OP attacks. Kind of sad how all those randies died again, seen as nothing, meaning nothing to anyone, yet Nitta is a huge deal. It's just like, meh, to me =/ |

| Great episode. I didn't mind Nitta surviving. I thought it was a really nicely done scene. That song was excellent as well. Why did I put off watching this great ep for a week?! Hmmmm, Yamato - you need to stop with those lines about Hibiki man. It's stopping my concentration on everything that's happened ;¬). |

| I don't care what other say that it's cliche, and garbage and all. I love that it's cliche since Io lives, and Hibiki being a badass saved her. She's a sweet and nice girl, and not annoying. I thought that she would really die at first but I'm glad she survived. I don't want her to die a gruesome death. Plus that ending song feels so good. Anyway, I'm happy for this episode. |

| I love this episode. I love how Hibiki save Io. That was very great. I want to cry ... but I'm shy that maybe my father will saw me. Tears in my eyes.. my nose is starting to have some liquid :D Thank you Hibiki... I'm so happy that Io didn't die :'( She's my favorite y'know!!! Gaaaaa...... "I want to live." and that hug!!! ♥ and that background song... I really want this two. Hibiki x Io... but I guess it won't happen. I don't see any romance in this anime :/ |
| Why the hell do I feel like I'm watching Eva again? Seriously, was this sacrificing thing there just so that they can justify that they are ripping of Eva as much as they can. While watching this episode i was like - "ohh, so here comes Eva Unit 3 Rampage" Just make the girl lose her eye for some reason after this and you got fukin' Eva there. After this it can't get better score from me - 5/10 (could get worse after I finnish 13th episode, I wonder). |

| Very much enjoyed this Episode n Alcor was so adorable this episode like seriously. Poor Io at least she survived I remember on the last ep everyone was like no she cant die now some people are like saw that coming i knew she wasnt going to die or that isnt how it happened in the game well neither is Hibiki getting Byakko or Suzaku but yet no one is mentioning that. I have only played about 15 mins of the game n i got annoyed bc the words werent coming out clear so why r u so grrr about shit if u want to watch something without knowing whats going to happen or even so u dont get irritated at something u see in the anime bc it didnt happen in the game or the manga then wait to read the manga or play the game after u see the anime that way u dont have to feel that way n u can watch the anime with open eyes. |

| Yamato loves Hibiki, confirmed. Also, Hibiki is literally the whiniest and most indisicive character in this show. Honestly, while playing through the game myself, I chose Alcor's path in a heartbeat. Sad to see Io live. |

| YEAH NITTA SURVIVED! man fuck the whole JP especially Makoto, Fumi and especially Hotsuin for using her and almost killing her. So Hibiki can use the dragon stream now suddenly which means he is related to the Hotsuin family (at least that's what I understood from Alcor's remark there) |
