ok, so it's this fall according to the official site. Now I'm really worried if they can adapt this well in half a year. |

The information about a fall schedule seems to be from some fans attending an event. So far I cannot find any confirmation from official source. Not to say that I don't believe a fall schedule - just want to stress that all we have so far is only information provided by fans.ok, so it's this fall according to the official site. By the way, key visual from the official website looks quite good: |

So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

Back when the first show aired it was only months since I had started watching anime and couldn't fully comprehend everything (tropes and what not) going on, and I remember being quite annoyed and disgusted with the male lead, but I've really come to appreciate the show, now looking back on it. I can only hope the same in this case. And please let there be a theme song by Uehara. |

White Album 2's one of the highest-rated visual novels out there [next to MLA and Clannad]. If a shit studio picks this up, it's going to suck [i.e. if the studio who adapted the first season picks this up, you're better off waiting for the finished translation of the novel]. If it's someone credible, then it's probably still going to suck [you cannot adapt 50 hours + of reading time within ~13 episodes, it would be difficult even with 26]. |

I just hope the male lead is less of a complete cunt than he was in the first season. Seriously the girls seemed interesting and I liked the whole idol thing, but damn that guy was a douchebag and made it painful to watch. |

Romance anime appears generic to people who use anime to gary stu. They can't connect with a guy who has a girlfriend, the concept is alien to them. |

Aerbage said: Why no closing chapter? :( Because you can't watch closing chapter without going through introductory chapter first. If they decided to delicate the whole first season to IC, I'll be fine with that. Moreover, unlike Muv Luv Extra, IC is great and very emotional in the end. However, I highly doubt Satelight will use that approach because there isn't enough content in IC to be stuffed into the whole first season (6-8 ep for IC will be ideal). If you let the game play in auto mode, you will finish IC in about 8-9 hours and it's just like watching an anime (IC is linear). Again, as symbv said, nothing is official yet. |

In other words, nothing is official on episode count yet. 4 cour is extremely unlikely without being split into multiple seasons for a late night anime anyway. Yes, a 4 cour show in late night is basically unheard of. However, 50 episodes total doesn't seem very far fetched though. Large budget VN adaptions can get split 2 cour adaptions. Little Busters and Clannad are some more recent examples. Of course, it can go with the Majikoi style of bullshit and end up with a terrible 1 cour adaption, but I would not be surprised if this was 2 cour in the Fall of 2013 followed by a second one in the Fall of 2014. |

lol holy crap this looks like something that would come out on live action tv in the 90's for asia. The brown hair girl reminds me of Asuka from Eva so much. The characters look pretty and looks like they also have really friendly personalities. I'll watch this just for those perfect oldschool friendly, nice characters. The only problem I thinking this anime could have is the characters problems might be very exaggerated. |

Don't worry, WA's story will stay as realistic as possible, so unless the production studio somehow messes it up, the anime won't have that problem. (Actually it's too realistic that sometimes I really wish that it had more "happy go lucky" , cliche moments here and there to ease off the tension built up throughout the story...) |

I'm HYPED as F**K..seriously...from a guy who uses "Taishi Kuhonbutsu as a Profile Pic, You'll probably know how HYPED I am NOW) I just hope they can adapt it well, and if it's true that the first cour will be IC dedicated, then I'm positive that the 2nd cour will probably be half and half with CC and Coda. Or 2nd cour purely for CC, and Coda will be made into a movie... lol Treekodar said: Looks like any other romance anime. Looks can be deceiving.. -2011, White Album 2 (Romance Drama) Fixed this piece. :p WA PS3 ver was released in 2011 and the PC port was released in 2012 so if you put it like that, someone may be mistaken. Personally I trust erogamescape top list more than getchu award. This is the best 100 eroges of all time by egs in the period from 1994 to 2011. 2012 adds some more titles to the list but they are nowhere near the top 10. Just skip to top 20 if you don't want to spend 25 minutes watching it. :p Ah, and in case you wonder where Clannad, Symphonic Rain, Stein;Gate or Ever17 are. They are not eroge, thus not listed here. They have 90, 89, 90,90 medians in that order. |

(I'm a very visual guy, so the lack of pics and buttons confuses me), On the other hand getchu was very pleasing to my brain, so I've been using it since forever... lol You know what site that can't be really "trusted"? I want to forget the first "white album" but I can't why cause it has got to be the worst anime ending I have ever seen.... and the mc don't get me started on the sob. I was sooo pissed when I watched it years ago. I will watch this but the second i see it going the same route as the first i'm out. |

Awesome news! But I can't understand all the bashing aganist the first white albume anime. I for myself foud it to be an outstanding and mature anime. Great plot, even greater music and enthralling atmosphere. One of my favourite romance animes. Even if some may didn't like the mc, that doesn't make the anime itself bad. And for the ending..memorable IMO: Open endings are disputed, but as fas as it goes for romance in Harem from an original story or an animation of an VN it does fit quite well sometimes. Specially in this case. It was left open which girl waited for the MC at the end. And till today I sometimes do wonder who it was, as it wasn't obvious as in many other romance animes. Thats why I love the first white albume anime, definitely 9/10 from me. |

I'm just a little skeptical, knowing anime's track record of outstanding VN adaptations and all, but at least there's nothing messy like branching story-lines involved. Might be worth watching. |

Well ye I guess, even though it's not anticipated as a classic, the storyline obviously brings something really good to the table. I find it really unique as in setting and storyline. As of dark VNs it brings forth the dystopic setting extremely well |

So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Also a completely different character design from the visual novel (at least the PC version), not sure if I like it more or not. Designs 95% similar to PS3 version IMHO. Speaking honestly I don't like both designs much but at least this once looks less edgy than PC once. |
