| Probably the same as lesbians. I liked it a lot. However, I'm more of a fan of romance between girls (so Shoujo-Ai as we call it), with or without actually showing sex. I don't watch neither Yuri nor Shoujo-Ai that often though, mainly because I don't find the art style very appealing in most of the Shoujo-Ai anime. Candy Boy is a good example of what I like. |

| Initially I was creeped out, because most of the yuri depicted teenagers who looked and acted like five year olds. However, as I became more involved in the internet, I realized it was a matter of what type of yuri you're reading. I was obviously in the moe genre and didn't even know that there was more to yuri than that particular style. Of course, I guess what I am more into now is not "yuri" per se. Rather, I find that Western smut better suits my taste. More mature, I guess? I don't know...I was young discovering yuri, and my first reaction was, "Is this for pedophiles?" |
| Initially I was mildly irritated by it because a couple of my friends were really into it. Eventually one of my friends convinced me to watch a shoujo ai-yuri she owned, Yami to Boushi. I thought it was stupid (because it's a genuinely bad series) and smut-tastic. However a different friend, sort of a yuri connosuer, convinced me to watch Mai Hime, Kannazuki no Miko (still dumb but enjoyable), Nanoha and a couple of others. Eventually I warmed up to it and now I quite like it, but as I am older and have begun to see the discrepency in male oriented and female oriented anime I refuse to watch any shoujo ai/yuri that is made 'by men for men'. I will only read/watch the ones "by women for women'. |

Its A) Pubslished in a yuri magazine, it was ment to be a 'lesbian'/yuri comedy series. B) 'She'(It only has 1 author, not multiple never slapped a shoujo-ai label on it, 'shoujo-ai' made-up term by western anime fans. |

| I swear there's no point to Yuru Yuri if you restrict yourself from the doujin. I didn't think there was any point to the show until I saw the doujin, and at that point everything fell into place. |

| When I first saw it I was like 12 and I disliked it because back then I was a homophobic little shit who didn't know any better than her parents. Today I will totally check it out if it meets my general romance requirements which are: cute, well written and good realistic character development. Though I wont watch/read yuri primarily targeted to or even written by men though. |
