| Oh yes, this is great news. And we should probably thank 4chan as well for this one. A lot of the initial first volumes sales came from that site and due to the surpising popularity in the West a lot of Japanese took notice of it as well. I think they even put "Big hit overseas!" on the cover of the second volume. Anyway, it is a nice tale regardless of how much of this is true as it raises hopes that Western consumers can indeed influence the Japanese market to a certain degree. Fitting for christmas. |

| Thinking about it, Mokocchi and Keima are polar opposites. Keima wants nothing to do with society and rejects it; Tomoko yearns to be part of it but is rejected by it. Keima wants nothing to do with love and romance but gets forced into it against his will, and finds himself a natural at it; Tomoko oh so desperately wants it, but can't get it. Keima has a kind of stylishness to everything he does; Tomoko does not. I could go on. |
