Tekken Blood Vengeance The hybrid disc version mentions a Tekken Blood Vengeance 3D. I have no means of checking either of these movies, but given that we have a Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society 3D, should a 3D version be considered a new entry? |

My last post about the Galaxy Angel series. Galaxy Angel 4 Episode counts are taken from official information. When this is unavailable, number of airing slots will be used in lieu of. If ambiguity still remains, the episode count will be at the discretion of the moderating team. Going by this, this should be 26 episodes as is treated on Broccoli. However, as it was with Galaxy Angel Z and Galaxy Angel 3, the initial airing had 2 episodes sandwiched by an OP/ED with a little something in between, in one airing slot. If this is left as 26 episodes, the in-between content (in this case, the rock-paper-scissors corner) will be left neglected. Hence, I would suggest changing the episode count to 13. Just to clarify, Galaxy Angel (1) is the only entry that accurately follows the official episode count, because this was aired in 15-minute time slots, whereas Z, 3, and 4 were aired in 30-minute time slots. On the news for the nicovideo marathon for the Galaxy Angel series, Galaxy Angel 4 was treated as 14 episodes, but because it had been fixed to 26 episodes on the actual broadcast page, I believe it was just a typo. (Nicovideo does have a lot of typos and mis-links on their news, like having an Accel World link on a news for Shining Hearts etc.). Galaxy Angel Z Galaxy Angel Z Special Because the other entries from the main series are titled by numbers with the letter version in the synonym, I believe this should do the same as to avoid confusion with Galaxy Angel Rune. Title: Galaxy Angel 2 Synonym: Galaxy Angel Z Title: Galaxy Angel 2: Cassoulet of Gunpowder & Tobacco Smoke Synonym: Galaxy Angel Z: Shouen to Shien no Kasure; Galaxy Angel 2 Special; Galaxy Angel Z Special (I split the synonyms to follow Galaxy Angel: Sukiyaki Bentou Goninmae. There is no "Special" in the actual title either, so it's more accurate as a synonym.) Galaxy Angel Rune I'm concerned about how the synonym Galaxy Angel 2 may confuse people. I personally think having just the synonym Galaxy Angel II (which comes from the original game) is fine, and the synonym Galaxy Angel 2 should be removed. The number 2 is not used that often to refer to Rune in the first place, and I think the differentiation is necessary. As for the DLE series, I'm going to take my time doing this. The official information is scattered all over, and I don't think I have the ability to see every episode for each series. Cofun Gal no Coffy and Taka no Tsume Planetarium weren't from the youtube page by the way, so I haven't submitted anything from within the 200+ videos on the official DLE page yet. |

Upotte!! Please change the starting date from April 1st to April 7th (23:30 Tokyo Time). I just finished watching the 1st episode on nicolive, full thing with OP/ED/next ep preview and commercials even. It's safe to think that it's the real thing being pre-aired. The Crunchyroll release really makes it seem like it's the actual airing, not a pre-airing. No concrete information on the TV series either. It's most likely airing in July, because the BD release begins July 27th. There are two "Eureka Seven: New Order"s. They are the same thing. The one I submitted: http://myanimelist.net/anime.php?id=13701 Someone else's submission after mine: http://myanimelist.net/anime.php?id=13731 I'm supposing the second submission is more accurate. I didn't know it was a summary (I made my submission before it aired on TV). My information about the Sony Music Anime Fes 06 and its date can be added. The primary airing date was May 31st 2006. The airing date on TV was April 7th 2012 in Tokyo, but I guess MBS was faster in Kansai (April 5th 2012). |

Amazon Japan lists 6 DVDs/Blu-Rays for Medaka Box with a total of 12 episodes. According to this news on Sengoku Collection site the series is going to be 26 episodes long. Acchi Kocchi, Sankarea are going to be 1 cour, 6 DVDs/Blu-Rays each. So most likely they are going to run for 12 episodes, but is still not confirmed (could be 11-13). |

Source: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2012-03-01/yamato-2199-no.1-previewed-on-tv-on-april-6 It's all very confusing. If I recall correctly, they are selling the DVD/BDs at the premieres for the movie versions of the series. Movie 1 was shown on April 7th so that's why the OVA series start date is April 7th. Retailers will start selling the first DVD/BD (containing eps 1-2) on May 25th. http://product.bandaivisual.co.jp/web_service/shop_product_info.asp?item_no=BCXA-0485 Not that confusing, since the disc's attributes says 49+1 long (the first movie's duration), and being released on 25th of May. The site says nothing about is. Hence it shall be played like all and all along? The first movie consist's the TV series' first 2 episodes and later on the other movies each consists 4-4 episodes from the later on coming TV-show. This can't be said as an OVA, even if they sold some DVD/BD on the premiere. It's still the movie's. |

This can't be said as an OVA, even if they sold some DVD/BD on the premiere. It's still the movie's. It was decided to leave as an OVA because at least the first 7 episodes are going to be released on Blu-ray/DVD before the TV broadcast. If you read the description of the Blu-ray/DVD, the first two episodes are included on it as separate entries. Instead of the first compiled movie version (The movie is marked as first chapter, while the Blu-ray/DVD states it includes the first and second episode). The movie's duration and DVD duration might coincide for this first movie, but I don't think it's going to coincide in the next movies. Taking in consideration they are going to condense 4 episodes into one movie. Either way, it would be interesting to hear the opinion of someone who actually went to the movie and saw the Blu-ray/DVD. Also the official page states that before the TV broadcast, the Anime series is going to get: an event at movie theaters, a Blu-Ray/DVD selling and a video on demand release. So if the series is going to get a Blu-Ray/DVD selling before its broadcast, it does make sense to mark it as an OVA, instead of a TV series. |

@ap19: Honestly, I have no clue on these 3D versions. I think we should not have new version for that but I probably approved the 3D version at the time. Will discuss with moderators but I'm guessing I'm going to merge the 3D version of Solid State Society to the other one. Maybe the "newly animated opening sequence" was enough in that case, don't remember. Either way, it seems excessive. The same sort of applies to Ghost in the Shell 2.0. We'll see. I fixed all the Galaxy Angel things (I hope), except the Z -> 2 request. The producers obviously want to call it Z, so we shall call it Z. Who am I to argue :) Calling it 2 makes more sense but anime titles often don't make a lot of sense to me... Upotte!! is an ONA then? Not airing on TV? So confusing... set it to ONA for now. I denied the first E7 submission on the basis that is was a fanmade video for an audio drama but it looks like the producers actually created a recap from it, so now that it has proper professional animation, we can accept it. The airing date being 05 April 2012 makes more sense to me, as it used to just be an audio drama. I hope I'm correct here. Thanks for all of these :) @cat_clan: Skipped Acchi Kocchi and Sankarea for now. @tsubasalover & cat_clan: Chibi☆Devi! stays as 1 entry, yeah. @KaitoDash: Fixed the e-u thing. Not so sure about Nyarlko. It doesn't mesh with the other entries, what's the officially translated name from CR? @Mimerio: 18 months with no news and we close it, sorry. It's probably only going to be 1 episode but yeah... @Ralem & cat_clan & Ricz: Fixed Dai Yamato Zero-go. Amazon.co.jp seems to be selling a 5 volume box, so it checks out. @Ricz, nextday & cat_clan: Yamato stays as OVA for now. It's not a TV series at all if they only air 2 episodes now and the rest later. TV series need to air regularly. It's a shitty situation but this seems like the best solution. @Juumonji: Fixed. Amazon.co.jp has two old VHS entries for it and we had 2 dates on the entry... apparently it's sold as one volume or something now since the fansubber only released one 45 minute episode, which is where I'm assuming the confusion stems from. Otherwise done, thanks a lot. |

Since -ko is obviously Japanese, leaving it as Nyaruko should be fine too. |

I got curious and searched about this. Dragon Slayer had an official VHS dub/sub back in 1997, courtesy of Urban Vision; but it seems they combined both OVAs into one 50 minutes long OVA. Hence the confusion about being one or two episodes. In Japan, both the VHS and LD releases were two episodes sold separately. |

Regarding Solid State Society 3D, there were many other scenes that changed, like the impressive sniper duel. 3D in general requires a lot of additional work from the staff's perspective, so I would prefer to think of 3D movies as completely different from the 2D ones. As for Ghost in the Shell 2.0, I've never watched Ghost in the Shell (1.0), so I can't say anything. kuroshiroi said: Upotte!! is an ONA then? Not airing on TV? So confusing... set it to ONA for now. In any case, a lot of the pictures were very poor, so I removed most of them and uploaded yours. @HosannaExcelsis: Set to unknown for now. I'm not convinced by those sources (even though they're almost certainly true) but I don't believe noitaminA will just suddenly increase the episode count for their series, especially since they started as late as usual. We'll set it once a final air date is established, I guess. @KaitoDash, arsonal & ap19: Nyarko, huh. The comments saying that it's weaaboo to keep the u in the Nyaruko name while not noticing the ko part is interesting, to say the least. They also didn't even include Nyarlko, which is clearly superior because I say so! In any case, I guess we'll just weeaboo it up with Nyaruko to keep it consistent and leave CR versions in the English synonym fields. Thanks. @ap19: Indeed, 3D movies are definitely a grey area. No clue where it'll end, I'll let you know. cat_clan said: Also, according to Kuroko no Basket official page is going to run for 26 episodes. 9 Blu-Ray/DVDs (1 Blu-Ray/DVD with 2 episodes and 8 with 3 episodes each). I think this includes episode 22.5 in the 8th volume, which will be either a special or a recap, so it should be 25 episodes. |

Thanks for the correction, I just saw the description of the Blu-Ray on Amazon.co.jp. Taking in consideration the announcement of 6 Blu-Ray/DVD volumes, each containing 2 episodes; one can assume the series Shining Hearts ~Shiawase no Pan~ is going to end after 12 episodes. Also the official page of Haiyore! Nyaruko-san announced 6 volumes of Blu-Ray/DVD ending at episode 12. |

Should Cardfight!! Vanguard: Asia Circuit Hen be merged with Cardfight!! Vanguard? As it does not follow the rules of having at least one seasons fall between them since the next episode aired the week after as usual and in the anime they count the "1st episode" of the Asia Circuit Hen as Episode 66 of Cardfight!! Vanguard. I can get you a screenshot if you need it. |

Then, what about Danball Senki W and Metal Fight Beyblade series (I don't know about Danballs Senki W, but Metal Fight Beyblade used continuous episode numbers for each different series except for the recent Zero-G series and they still get separate entries.)? |

I haven't even finished the first series of Metal Fight so I wouldn't know. But I was just asking if it should be or not. |

I think it should be treated as a separate entry. For example Naruto and Naruto Shippuuden should be merged as well if this gets approved. Since they also have continuity in their episode numbers, according to TV Tokyo. Also Cardfight!! Vanguard: Asia Circuit Hen does sounds like a second season to Cardfight!! Vanguard, specially since they decided to change the name and logo of the series. |

cat_clan said: I meant in the actual show they put the number on the episode with the episode title itself so to me it feels like it's still one series. They just added on to the name, it just feels like an arc not a whole nother series. Naruto Shippuden had a time skip so that feels different to me.I think it should be treated as a separate entry. They don't have to approve this, I was just simply asking. |

It's fine to ask, we are just trying to expose the reasons behind why we (not staff members) think it should be treated as a separate entry. Of course, the final word is going to be from some staff member, most likely kuroshiroi. |
