One of my favorite directors, it feels like his time is come and gone though, considering the type of anime he is working on these days.

He wrote the screenplay for "A Wind Named Amnesia" and for that alone I will be forever thankful. The movie is very well written. It's is truly an anime masterpeice. But he is also a talented director in his own right. I enjoy his works. They have a certian "something" others seem to lack. He has his own tone and style that's for sure...

Kawajiri's visual style is uniquely his own, the dark characterizations are also something I was always fond of with him. Above all else though, he knows how to make great action sequences. ^_-
