| Just call any anime you like as a masterpiece man, meanwhile smarter people will use the rating scale better. 7 for anime you liked, 8 for anime you really liked, etc.. I in comparison, give 10s (masterpiece) to about only 1% of my list. |

| I don't think I would call Katanagatari a masterpiece, but I definitely think it's a very good series. It's a 8/10 for me and a personal favourite....Togame is also one of my favourite female protagonists...and I like Nisio Isin's writing style overall...it's very unconventional and dialogue driving, wich is why it stands out. |

| It was good. A solid 7/10. I think the episodes should have been regular length rather than close to an hour though. |

| Someone recommended Katangatari to me last year saying it was a masterpiece. I finally watched it a few months ago and was blown away, great characters, superb story. I gave it a sword slashing 10/10. |

| Watched it few years ago, good anime I enjoyed the tactful and strategies they deployed on certain targets as well the journey and romance. But the tragic kind of crushed it all, sure it has a good ending but maybe is not the type I preferred. |
