| Most animes brings you entertainment and joy (because like any medium, it is the purpose of it). But have you ever come across an "unforgiving" anime? Where throughout most of its run, you're just left being shafted by how awful, depressing and how the anime repeatedly worsen its mood on you. Did you have an anime like that? |

| Myself; Yourself comes to mind. It started off decent, but one episode after another it went downhill. It tried to take on so many "dark" themes like and failed at all of them. The epilogue didn't even save it |

| That pretty much describes everything I score below a 5. I hate depressing shows. Probably the biggest one for me would be Shiki. Let me tell you, I did not have a fun time watching that. |

| Shoutout to all the people that think this thread is about bad anime. Welcome to the NHK is fairly depressing throughout nearly the whole run, even though it has comedic moments throughout. For a more accurate but much more simple answer, Madoka Magica fits the bill pretty well. |

| Recently, I just finished Kuzu no Honkai, and while I wouldn't say it railed me with how depressing its themes were, I would say it's pretty difficult to sit through because the characters kept making terrible decisions; I was lucky I wasn't really able to get invested into any of them. |
| I only felt it once, like I shouldn't have watched it. And it's Isekai Cheat Magician, the anime that I gave the lowest. I shouldn't have been lured by it's 'you feel like it's cool' title. |

| i watched an hentai where a girl becomes a slut as she gets raped repeatedly buy her uncle and his friends. these guys were old n fat and disguisting. they make her pregnant and fuck her when she is pregnant that was rough . she screamed like a bitch saying "yes, yes fuck me" this hentai was fun to watch but disguising at the same time. don't know the name |

| Tejina Senpai and Konosuba, especially s2. I just get annoyed if someone repeats same jokes over and over again and I can't find them funny. Fairy Gone. I hate when good potential goes to waste with one dimensional and annoying characters, especially if I like animation. Too bad. |
