| I mean I enjoyed My Hero Academia a lot but some of these are really questionable... On a side note Land of the Lustrous getting that best CGI... beautiful stuff! Also Anime of the Year being Made in Abyss! Hell yes! |

| Like I mentioned in another thread, it's the casuals that made MHA win so much. Don't get me wrong, MHA is a good show in its own rights and respective categories such as 'action' but it didnt deserve to win in everything else beyond that one. There were way better male and female characters than Ochako and Todoroki, shows with better animation like Land of the Lustrous or MIA, better villains than Stain like Bondrewd, etc etc. Hopefully MHA season 3 doesnt rig next years CR Anime awards. But sadly, it most likely will given how the community of anime fans are. |

| Your Name is lovely, entertaining and has great artwork, but it's just that, unlike A Silent Voice which besides also having great artwork and being catchy, it clearly is more substantial and should've won. |
| Your Name deserved the win. A Silent Voice had better characters and was a bit more emotional. But Your Name just had a ton of things going for it. It was a sweet story, an interesting premise, beautiful art, great music, some suspense and it was emotional for sure. |

| Maid Dragon was funny, but the jokes got stale fast. Should not have won the best comedy. Stain winning "Best Villain" is acceptable, because he genuinely was an amazing villain, but this "Best Boy/Girl" award needs to go away. It's stupid and makes little sense. |
